So last year, we got an announcement of a new TMNT game which was simply titled "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge"
The game was released this year last month on the 16th. I wasn't sure if I was gonna play it until I just decided to give it a try since I kinda got it on sale due to my PlayStation plus premium membership or something.
and I am glad that I bought the game!

The game was AWESOME! One of the best games that I've played in a while this year next to Elden Ring, Lego Star Wars the Skywalkers saga, and Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the rescue... yeah, I know that last one is not a real NEW game, but it is now backward compatible, and I never played the game before, sooooooo yeah it counts for me. 

Anyway, the game cost me like $24.00 (however since I had a membership, I got the game for $20.00)
I played it throughout the whole weekend without putting the controller down. I beat it 2 times already.



So TMNT Shredders Revenge is a retro style pixelart beat em up arcade game based on the old Ninja Turtles games in the past along with the 1987 cartoon show. 
They even managed to get the original voice actors to play their roll as the turtles. Thats what I call dedication lol

The game has alot of great stuff in it, such as multiple playable characters (The game has 7 playable characters with 1 of them being an unlockable once u beat the game for the first time), alot of enemy types (different kinds of Foot Soliders, robots, mousers, creatures from Dimension X and so on), 16 fun stages (such as Channel 6 tower, hoverboard stage, subway, ect.), fun bosses from villain of the show such as Bebop and Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, The Rat-King, Krang, of course Shredders and a few more. 


The story of the game feels like an episode from the show but basically, all the villains are trying to destroy the turtles along with building Krangs robot suit for him and maybe bring his army from Dimension X to earth. and Shredders there too lol
in the game, there isn't that much of "Shredder's Revenge" until like the last 2 stages, but he is scene is some of the previous levels and cutscenes so I'm fine with that lol
But hey at least Shredder is the final boss in the game, so that's good lol



The game has 2 game modes, "Story Mode" and "Arcade Mode" 
Story Mode is basically where you are free to play the game at your own pase, save your progress, complete some stage challenges such as DONT get hit once, throw some enemies off a cliff or something, find some collectables for some of the cameo characters who give you some side quest for u to do, and level up your characters to max level.
Arcade Mode is pretty much what you think it is. you go stage by stage with no break at all and see if you can beat the game in one go. 
there are no stage challenges, no collectables, no leveling up, just you, your gaming skills, and a hand full of lives. 
if u lose all your lives, then you can get a continue... but if u use up all you continue then you'll get a game over and u have to start the game all over again. Just like the old arcade games back in the old days 





So for this drawing, we have all the playable characters which are Leonardo, Rapheal, Michelangelo, Donatello, and the other 3 playable characters which are Master Splinter, April O'neil (or as I like to call... BOMBSHELL April lol), and Casey Jones... looking like he's about to strangle me.
I also added in some of the villains from the game because why not. So, I added in Bebop and Rocksteady, Baxter Stockman, The Rat-King, Tokka, Razar, Leather Head, Krang, and of course Shredder looking down on our heroes.
and of course, I drew in me in the middle wearing a green bandana, belt with an S on the belt buckle. Im just playing the game while also enjoying a slice of pizza that was offered to me by Mikey.


This drawing took me like a week to do while dealing with other stuff, so I do hope u all like it.
I recommend that u all go play TMNT Shredders Revenge if you're a turtle's fan, or a fan of arcade beat em up games, I say its a great game and worth your time and money.
Basically $24.99, thats a good price. 
I give the game a great 9 out of 10 and after this, I am looking forward to the "TMNT: The Cowabunga collection" coming this year in December.
