SSKTLOI The cult prison

“just like the old days” 

That phrase echoed in Phoenix’s mind as she faded into unconsciousness. Suddenly images of past memories of happiness back when she was part of the gang… But soon the images began to flash into Phoenix’s POV on the day… they betrayed her. Making her remember it all, the looks on her friends faces as they just left her to die, the eternal pain of the fire burning her skin as she was taken away…

Before it could get worse… she awoken. 

Her head hurt as she sat up and looked around to see that she was somewhere else. She was in some kind of cell, it almost remind her time back in prison, as she then began to hear iron grinding onto iron. 

She turns her head to see Razer Blade in the same cell as her trying to use razer blades to cut through the bars.

Razer Blade: *grinding a razer blade on the bars trying to cut through it, but then the razer blade broke and cut his finger* AH! Damn it! *sucks on his finger as he tosses the broken razer blade into a small pile of broken razer blades. (yes, he’s been trying to cut the bars with razer blades for hours) puts on a new bandage on his finger and pulled out another razer blade still cutting the bar *

*turns his head to see Phoenix awake* oh look who's finally awake huh? Good job on blowing our cover, lass. Mind helping me out with the bars here? 

Phoenix: *looks away and says nothing*

Razer Blade: *groans in annoyance as he puts his razer blade away and attempts to pull the bar that he had been cutting at for hours, hoping that it would break free… but no luck. He then sat down in defeat* Well… we’re screwed. 

Well seeing as we’re stuck here, we might as well chat until we slowly die. So… what was your problem blowing our cover earlier? *Phoenix says nothing* ok then. 

SWS: Well… at least we’re all together kinda *she and Deadly Daisy are in the cell next door* 

Razer Blade: *gets up with surprised look on his face* wait! You've been next door this whole time? 

SWS: Yep. I’ve been in this cell for… *looks at her wrists* I don't have a watch. Lets just say I’ve been in here as long as you guys have. 

Razer Blade: *annoyed* Then why did you guys say anything sooner?! 

Deady Daisy: *she and SWS shrugs their shoulders* didn't feel like it.

Deathwish: Same here. *he’s also in a cell next door* 

SWS: huh, we really ARE all together. Hey, is Corpsey (Zomben) in there with you?

Deathwish: Sadly no, it's just me. *sighs* Which sucks because we really could’ve use Ben’s help by now. What do you think they're doing to him right now?

SWS: They better not hurt my Corpsey!  >:c

Deadly Daisy: I'm sure he’s ok. He’s a big boy.

Razer Blade: yeah. A big dumb boy. It's just us we gotta worry about and figure out how to get out of here. *looks at Phoenix* Well we could ask Miss ChatterBox here. Since she’s the reason we got put in these cells then she should know how to get us out of these cells *Phoenix getting annoyed* But I guess, her tongue was burnt when she got arrested the first time. Is that it? *Phoenix is even more pissed and sits stands up* So ya finally wanna say something? 

Out of anger, Phoenix then punched Razer Blade in the face leaving a massive black eye. 

This stupidly enough, amused Razer Blade and they began fighting… Phoenix was clearly winning in the fight. All while SWS, Daisy, and Deathwish just sit in their cell listening to the fight. 

Not really phased by it because let's be honest, Razer Blade kinda brought it on himself due to him running his mouth and pissing off a girl who was clearly not in the mood. 

Razer Blade: *Phoenix is bashing his back against the brick wall of the cell* I'm starting to see! *bash* the error of me ways! *bash* 

Suddenly… bump…

Everyone: *they all heard that sudden bump* 

SWS: what the hell was that?

Phoenix: *curious as so bashes Razer Blade’s back against the brick wall again twice* 

Bump bump… (it got louder)

Phoenix continued this which caused the bumping to get louder and closer, until… BOOM! The brick wall broke down to where Phoenix and Razer Blade were faced with Zomben there. 

Razer Blade: LADDIE! *happy to see Zomben with a smile (cartoonishly missing a tooth)*

Zomben: Beardy! *happily picks up Razer Blade and give him a big hug* 

SWS: *gasps with joy* is that Corpesy I hear?  

Deadly Daisy: Sounds like it ^^ 

Deathwish: Great. Ben, can ya get us out of our cells, please? 

Zomben puts Razer Blade down and breaks the bars down to all of their cells, freeing his squad members. The gang was fully back together and they were happy to see him safe and sound… mostly. 

SWS noticed that Zomben’s right arm got scorched abit and he had some bits of his flesh ripped off his arm in the shape of the cults branding. 

SWS: *sees the injuries on Zomben and is pissed off* Did they hurt you?! *Zomben nods yes* When I get my hands on them, I am gonna rip their- 

Deathwish: We can talk about that later. Let's just focus on getting out of here. 

The whole squad agreed that they could talk later and so began exploring around where they were and how to get out. 

It was pretty obvious that they were trapped in some kind of old abandoned makeshift prison that seemed to be out of order for years. It didn't take long for them to take out some guards and retrieve their gear. 

The squad continued their exploring around the prison trying to find an exit, as they had the smell of burnt flesh filling their nostrils, and burnt corpses in cells… this is clearly what the lord of flames was referring to when he mentioned that some people were… “taken care of”

Leaving the whole squad at unease, (except for Phoenix)

But as they continued their search…

???: *weak low voice* you… 

Phoenix's ears perked as she and the rest of the squad walked backwards slowly to witness a truly horrifying sight. 

A man being hung by his wrists, branded and slashed on his chest, a hole in his stomach which is held together with some staples to avoid his organs falling out, his arm burnt, and his bottom half… completely scorched to burnt charcoal-like texture with his legs no longer existing. But what was more horrifying… he was still alive. 

???: *still in the weak low voice* It's you… You're the phoenix. The one who would free us of our sins. 

*The squad looks at Phoenix for a moment looks back at the man who sounded more defeated as he spoke* 

But I'm afraid… there's nothing left to free me of… nothing. 

Razer Blade: *disturbed by the sight* What happened to you?

???: …punishment.

I was a spy, pretending to be a cult member trying to get whatever info on this... “Great Blaze”. I almost knew what they were planning… But somehow… they found me out… and punished me.

They have killed me… brought me back… just to make me suffer. The rest were lucky. referring to the burnt corpse in the cells 

I tried to keep the others filled with hope. Hoping that you would come… but after months of punishment… I lost hope myself.

The cult… the lord… 

The fire is their god… *the camera lowers down to his burnt lower half* and THIS is what they do to the heretics. 

Deadly Daisy: Jesus…

???: The cult will do the same to you and the rest. They will not stop… will not rest… until you all are burnt to ashes under their feet on the day of the great blaze.  *silent for a moment*

Listen to me. You need to get out of this… terrible place… you need to save the others. others? More prisoners… they're trapped here… you need to help them… give them hope again… you need to-! 

Suddenly the siren horn began to go off which caught everyone's attention, and soon heard the voice of something speaking from the intercom. 

The voice belonged to the tall lengthy disciple from earlier, his voice had a dark and twisted tone to it as he spoke. 

The Tall Lengthy Disciple: *chuckling* Looks like our lil buddy and her friends got out of their cells! Well we can't have you leaving hehehe! And as for our… little spy here, I think it's time to cut ya a lil break. *his chuckles goes more manic-like* Have fun Emily hehehe *alarm begins to go off* 

???: *surprised that they could hear him* what? You were listening this whole time?! *suddenly a hatch slowly began to open above him, which left his eyes widen* wha- what the hell is that?! *something above him began to drip onto him and burn into his skin like lava, and more began to fall onto him and he begins to panic* AH! *looks at the squad* Please! Kill me! Please kill me! PLEASE! *now begins to be consumed by more of molten acid-looking lava like substance and burning like HELL*

(at this moment, Phoenix has the choice to either shoot the man putting him out of his misery or leave him to his fate)

A new mission begins for the squad. Find the other prisoners, and escape.
