SSKTLOI The Lord of Flames

So far, you all liked my Suicide Squad main story, and you all seemed to enjoy the epilogue episode 1 "Sisterhood"

so now we're onto the 2nd episode "From the Ashes"

(The episode's plot)

In this episode, the squad are now having to deal with a massive fire worshiping death cult who goes by the name of "The Flame of Agony"

who also resides in the gloomy and dangerous "Never-Sleep City" which use to be the home of the former alive Darkwalker and his rouge gallery (Never-Sleep City is pretty much a mix of Gotham City and Night City from Cyberpunk)

The cult is planning something in 3 days called, "The Great Blaze" and seeing as its coming from a fire worshiping death cult... yeah that sounds pretty bad, so obviously Ms. Z wants the squad to take care of it.

So their mission is simple... kinda, with the "assist" of their new squad member Phoenix, their mission is go to "Never-Sleep City", track down the cult base by base (because the cult has multiple bases through out the city with no guarantee on where the leader could be), take out the cult leader, and stop this Great Blaze from ever happening.

(The Main Villain)

So... let's talk about the main villain of the episode, the cult leader, "The Lord of Flames"

This guys is brutal, unforgiving, and psychotic.

He rules his disciples and followers with a burning fist, and he will not hesitate to put them in their places or put down anyone who dares to face him because he will deliver some of his "faith" which is a quick death by burning or a faith WORSE than death.

For WHO the lord is, thats a abit of a long story...

(The Cult's Origin)

around 10 years ago, The Flame of Agony actually use to be notorious biker gang known as, "The Blazing Hawks" the biker gang comprised of bike riding delinquents who mainly just caused petty crimes such as running from the cops, causing disturbances, petty robberies, and... well setting things on fire.

Sometimes during these years, the gang's leader "Lorence Elliot" had a mental breakdown, went CRAZY, burned himself pretty badly, and thus turned the gang into a fire worshiping death cult, and renaming himself "The Lord of Flames"

A few months after the events of SSKTLOI main story, it would seem that some of the cult followers were in Glorious City and managed to find some tech that use to belong to Callisto's ship. They then returned to Never-Sleep City, present this tech to the cult, and with a few tinkering, they managed to create devastating weapons and turn themselves into a force to be wreckend with.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that leads to now...

This drawing took a few hours since... well I was struggling to come up with this guys design since I wanted to make him look weak... but menacing, kinda like Scarecrow from Batman Arkham Asylum.

So I drew him in a pyro mask which is also connected to an oxygen tank that is strapped to his back (its meant to help him breath properly), wearing a burnt hooded cloak, a fingerless glove, a long leather arm high glove, some brown pants, a holster where he holds his gun, no shoes, alot of bandages, some of his exposed burnt skin, and holding his staff.

Overall, despite coming up with the design was hard, I do think it turned out good and I hope you all like it.

The next drawing related to the story will be a drawing of the newest squad member, Phoenix along with explaining her info and explaining her connection to the cult.

I will also be doing a drawing of the cultist enemies armed with these new weapons, after doing the Phoenix drawing so keep your eyes out for that and have a good day ^^
