Night Time Death Row Alternates

So if some of you remember from my drawing "Night TIme DEATHROW" www.deviantart.com/skylertoons…
I mention that I would do some drawings related to it, this could be either like the alternate endings, bosses, enemies, ect, and that what I got for u all here

So this is one of the many enemies called "Alternates" 
These guys are the either 2nd or 3rd enemy types that Lucas will encounter in the story/game
(The starter enemies are mainly prisoners turned into zombies, however sometimes their slow and dumb like classic zombies, sometimes they can actually fight and can run at you, and some of them even have weapons)

Anyway, the Alternates are other prisoners that instead of being turned into zombies, these prisoners were evolved into some kind of deformed monsters that only know how to hunt and knows how to kill.
Their smarter than the zombies, faster than the zombies, and even more deadlier than the zombies.



These bastards can hide very easily in order to stalk their prey, and when they strike, they strike hard. (in other words, their pounce on you)
so you'll really need to keep an eye out everywhere and the only way to know that their nearby is by hearing a light growl.
However most of the time, Alternates will be found in groups of either zombies or with other Alternates.


When I said that Alternates are faster than zombies, I mean it.
they are so fast that they can literally step aside every bullet that you throw at them.

Bullet from a handgun= dodge
Bullet from assault rifle= dodge
Bullet from SMG= dodge
Bullet from sniper rifle= dodge
Hand Grenade= hops away from it 
in other words, these bastards are untouchable most of the time. and even if you do managed to shoot them... they still wont go down so easy since they have pretty tough skin.



The only 2 ways to truly harm them is either using the shotgun or using Lucas's arm.
The Shotgun Way: simply wait for the Alternate to attack you and then quickly fire your shotgun at them, they cant dodge the shotgun blasts. 
The Lucas Arm Way: its the same as the shotgun way to kill them, simply wait for the Alternate to attack you or pounce at you, and at the last second, quickly dodge out of the way and then start slashing at them as much as you can.




Their is also a different variation of the Alternate, called "Poppers" (the name is still a WIP but for now their called poppers)
These Poppers are not so tough, but they are very deadly. If you look at the Alternate on the left in the drawing, you'll noticed that it has abunch of bubbly spots on its face and chest, The Poppers are completely covered in these bubbly spots, but bigger and are extremely explosive.

So when you encounter a Popper and when they see you, they will first scream their heads off and start running at you. Once a Popper is close to you, they will blow themselves up... so in other words, the Poppers are the monsters version of a suicide bomber.
However luckily unlike the normal Alternates, the Poppers cant dodge anything, so luckily u can kill them from a distance by just shooting a bullet at them and they can also harm other enemies near them when they explode.




Soooooooooooo yeah, thats pretty much all I have to say about the Alternates.
working on the drawing was a mix between easy but abit hard on how these guys are supposed to look like, but Im glad on how it turned out.
I might do a drawing of the Popper Alternates if u guys want to see that in the near future, but I do plan to draw some of the other enemies or many bosses.
