Inktober 26 My father betrayed me

(This is NOT part of the canon multiverse. This is just a little story telling along with a What If story. Enjoy)


This is a Jason related story
and I've been thinking alot about God of war and DOOM Eternal alot along with my amazon story idea involving The Amazons of Legends, so I wanted to make a lil story related to Jason because I haven't made much with Jason for a while so yeah. 
However, I do have another Inktober drawing idea for Jason that isn't connected to this story so keep your eyes out for that. 



Before I tell you all THIS story, I should explain abit about Jason Cook if you all are new to him.
Jason Cook is the biological son of both Skyler Cook and Rya the amazon from Rya's dimension. Jason has been raised by the amazons throughout his whole life and he never knew his father until he met him in person when he was 12 (Jason was 12 when he met his father) They didnt get along at first and they do bud heads now and then like any other father and son do, but they do care greatly for each other. When Jason was born, he was not liked by the amazons due to him being a male, but his mother didn't gave up on him and so Rya trained Jason and taught him the amazons way of life and eventually Jason finally accepted by all of the amazons (I will work on that story in the future)
Jason also has guardian energy within him from his father because back before Rya was pregnant with Jason, Skyler was still a guardian when they did it. However, Jason is NOT an guardian even tho he has guardian energy in him and it only happens when Jason is under alot of stress or anger (he dosnt know how to control his energy)
ok I think thats enough information about Jason, so I hope u all get it and I hope u all like it. Now on with the story!

This story is abit of a 3-part story or a trilogy. But don't expect a huge story just like some of my old stories lol
(Warning: this story is NOT connected to the canon universe of these characters. this story is just a What if like story in another universe or something)






The prologue 
Jason has come of age and has become his mother Rya's 2nd in command in protecting their village and their Amazonian sisters both young and old. As Jason is being promoted to his mother's 2nd in command, he is also granted a new "mark" on his chest of the Sun to show that he is an amazon, and a protector by his heart, and shows that he is one of the many beloved children of the great goddess (The Sun)
Everything was just perfect... 


Until a couple of weeks later, the villages of amazons were under attack from unknown hostiles. Rya and the rest of the amazon warriors and hunters were holding down the fort against the mysterious attackers while Jason was tasked to send all the amazons who could not fight, including the little ones to the emergency meeting hall for their safety. (The inside of the meeting hall wasn't much but it had everything they they needed, and the meeting hall was also protected by charms made by both the Amazonian medics) 
When everyone was accounted for, Jason told them all to barricade the doors when he left while he defends the hall from the outside.
all the amazons were afraid and honestly so was Jason, but he was willing to do anything in order to protect them.

it wasn't long for there to be trouble coming near the meeting hall and Jason was ready to deal with whatever they threw at him. They hit hard, but Jason hit harder and faster, not even breaking a sweat. Jason may of getting some injuries, but he didn't stop fighting back, he was Truley unstoppable, and he eventually slaughtered the intruders, but... he had not time to rest...
As Rya was thrown against the walls, breaking through the walls of the meeting hall which led everyone including Jason shocked and worried. 
Rya was badly bruised, and she looked as if she couldn't get back up as the medics attempted to quickly healed her wounds, but it wasnt long before the intruder revealed himself. The Intruder was Jason's father, Skyler Cook in his guardian prime and he aimed to finish the job with Rya. Jason was stunned to see that it was his father who attacked his mother. 



Soon enough this led to becoming a fight between Jason, and Rya against Skyler which last for nearly 5 mins until both Jason and Rya are too weak to keep fighting, and by then Skyler finally explain as to why he causes all of this trouble.

Skyler: There comes a day when a species has lived long enough until meeting its ending... its extinction. And that time has come now for these... amazons. But you my son... your different from them. Im also here to make you an offer. *holds out his hand* Join me, assist me to exterminate these amazons, and in return you will be worshipped in the glory of the guardians. 
Jason: *he is disgusted of what his father was saying* To hell with you and your guardians! I will NEVER join you! *tries to fight back but was instantly had his body trapped in stone by his father*

Skyler: So disappointing. you just stay put... not that you can do anything anyway. 
Skyler walked away from Jason as he walked towards Rya to finish the job, but Rya was not willing to give up just yet as she griped her axe tightly and bared her teeth and continued the fight between the 2 of them, while Jason tried to break free from his Stoney prison.
The fight lasted another 5 minutes of both Rya and Skyler fighting all over the village until Rya used nearly all of her strength to ram her axe into Skyler's chest and throw him completely far away from the village, and so she quickly returned to Jason trying to help him get out of the stone.



Rya: *puts her axe down and tries to assist Jason* Jason, are you ok? 
Jason: Im fine. Are you ok? *Rya reassures Jason that she's ok even tho she is badly beaten* you gotta go check on the others, to make sure their safe. 

Rya: We'll do that once we get you out of this. Now lets just try to get you out of this! *tries to break Jason free from the stone, but before she could get any of it off of him, Rya was instantly stabbed in the back by Skyler with the axe wound instantly healed* 
Jason: *eyes widen as his mother's blood is spilt and some got onto his face* 



Rya: *falls to the ground with her eyes looking at Jason and her hand weakly reaching out for her son* Ja...ssson... *dies* 
Jason: *tears running down in an instant from the sight of his mother* no no no no NO NO! MOTHER! GET UP PLEASE! MOTHERRR! *His view changed from his mother's lifeless body to his father, and Jasons emotion changed from sadness to pure anger as the tears kept falling and his eyes glow in fury* I'll kill you! I'LL KILL YOU!! *Uses all his strength to break his arms and his torso from his Stoney prison, until he is face to face with his father* You will die for this! 

Skyler: *showed now emotion except for annoyed* you first.
and just like that, Skyler then killed his own son by impaling Jason in the head by a guardian shard. Skyler just stood there as he watches his son slowly die and watch his blood just steam across the cracks of his stoney prison onto the grass, until he went to the meeting hall and do the unthinkable. 
(End of the Prologue, but... Jason. Will. Return.)




So yeah, that's the prologue for this What If story trilogy thing. I know its abit dark but to be fair, if you look through nearly all of my Inktober drawings, you would know that not all of them has a story to them. There's like maybe 7 of them has a story and only like 3-ish of them are somewhat serious stories (which are "The Queen of Hell", "The Mirror", and "TSOOC The Nobody"   aka Inktober 2, 10, and 11)
SO yeah, I just wanted to do another serious story, related to Jason this time. However, I will only have 3 drawings related to this story that I will post tomorrow, and the 2 days after that. But after I post those 3 games, I will draw a WHOLESOME drawing related to Rya and Jason for Halloween, I promise.
and I will also reveal story about itself as well since Im sure you all will be confused lol



Anyway, about the drawing, I was inspired by 2 things "Batman Death of the Family" comic cover from 2011, and the live action trailer from God of War Ascension (I also played that game... and I did not like it that much lol)
So yeah, for this drawing, I drew in Jason on his knees with a few arrows in his back, tears in his eyes, as he is holding his mother Rya's axe to symbolize that the torch has been handed down to Jason even tho he's not ready. also added in Rya's crow feathers above Jason to show that she truly is gone, and the spotlight is to show that Jason is the last one standing due to his father killing everyone, with the tagline "My father betrayed me"




So thats all I got now for this drawing, but I will have another drawing for tomorrow so I hope u all like the drawing and story and have a great day, and stay safe out there. ^^
