Tarot Nine of Pentacles

This is the Nine of Pentacles from the Tarot, done as a gift for Reinder for his comic's 9th anniversary.

The Nine of Pentacles shows a noble woman in her vineyard with a hawk or other fancy bird. She wears a brocaded costume of the Renaissance (a very expensive fabric at the time, usually limited to the richest of nobles). The meaning of the card is "the positive fruits of your own labor". Here the noblewoman is richly rewarded for her meticulous care of the plants on her estate.

When trying to come up with something good for the number nine regarding Reinder's comic-- we thought about the nine muses and all of the normal symbols of nine. The Nine of Pentacles though struck me as a great idea because Reinder's comic truly is the great work of his meticulous care. He has paid attention to it every week for years, often on a daily basis. Countless hours have been spent building his comic archive empire, and for this I say "Congrats Love" <3
