[Full Title]
Dream of a Mitochondria and Osmosis Between Hydrogen Peroxide Through an Impossibly Invisible Cellulose Strain

Yes, its OSMOSIS :D

[Description]

A general landscape made with Voyager and detailed with Photoshop.

[Questions that people will DEFINATELY ask due to its mysterious apperance]

Question:
Why title "Dream of a Mitochondria and Osmosis Between Hydrogen Peroxide Through an Impossibly Invisible Cellulose Strain" ?

Answer:
Because it's a dream of a mitochondria and osmosis between hydrogen peroxide through an impossibly invisible cellulose strain.

Question: How did you make the landscape?

Answer: I made it using a separate (mother) software called Artmatic which generates the textures, landscapes, and even the skies you see. Of course, I usually don't feel satisfied even with the rendered product, so I usually brush it up in Photoshop.

Question: What's the full resolution?

Answer: 9000X6000

Question: Is there a print?

Answer:
Sure. I'm even lowering the price for this one.

Question:
Is there a wallpaper edition?

Answer: Yes. If you got specific sizes lets say for 3 or 4 monitors, ask.

Question: How long do you take just editing these images?

Answer: Seven or eight hours. Seriously. I'm not THAT lazy.

Question: You got too much time on your hands. Do you do some sort of job or some achedemic study?

Answer: I do have a well payed job. I do have good grades to keep me up in the honor roll. Shut up, I won't tell you more.

Question: How do mitochondria feel about this image?

Answer: They're all excited and are currently over producing ATP.

Question: Will you buy me one print?

Answer:
No. It's worth the price, please consider buying yourself.

Question: But I don't have money! Will you lend me?

Answer: People always run away. No.

Question: Can I reproduce prints of the wallpaper and even sell it?

Answer: Do at your own risk. You'll probably find yourself paying me $6200 a month after a court order.

Question: I want to use your image in my production! Can I use it?

Answer: Depends. If you get money from that production, and hog my image as if it was really yours, then no. Please email me about situations like that. Give me the details, I'm usually NOT happy with just "can I use it?" In fact, I become suspicious about you without any info.

[laughs too hard to be able to continue with comments, which is a pity, because Far originally had lots to say about how awesome this landscape is]

The title of this image is a silly title.

The content of this image is rather average. The ripples of the water are stolen of detail. It is very sad.

More than half of your reply is in the form of questions.

"Isn't it strange for such an artist to suddenly use a really weird title related to biology?"

Yes.

"Have you been to an art exhibition lately? Ever looked at the titles and the picture?"

No I have not. Even if these exhibitions contained art with titles of strange, it would matter little, as
a)it is your artwork, not exhibition artwork being discussed
b) Not all exhibitions contain artwork with strange titles.

"Ever wondered what an "average" is? My average means that the artist submits a totally blank canvas to the art museum."

By average my meaning was that this image lacks any distinguishing qualities from the rest of the images in your gallery. Also, this is my opinion only, but your average is strange and makes no sense. By this definition, everything is above average. Average is a representation of roughly what most artwork is like. Most artwork is not a blank canvas. Let us not debate further what your idea of average is, as it would be a purely subjective debate.

"Have you figured why the ripples are stolen of detail? Ever wondered what the quality was? It's like 9000X6000 reduced to just 900X600 what the hell do you expect?"

Judging from larger pictures in your gallery, the program you use lacks abilities to create nice water. Perhaps more effort through photoshop would fix this.

"Ever questioned why its a sad image? Why is it sad to you?"

This image is sad because it does not stand out in your gallery. It is simply another quick, piece made through some random button pushing. Poor image. :(

Let me simplify.

1. Please go visit some gallery with Salvador Dali works. Look for a piece called "Eclipse and Vegitable Osmosis." That's all I can say. Further more, if you have time, I encourage you to visit loads of galleries just for entertainment. It's fun :)

2. I apologize, but I must make it really clear. Art does not have average. You just can't make "averages" in art unless you materialize everything. In one sense, you can distinguish good works and bad works, but if you define them as art, there is no such thing. There is no "average" for art. That's why I'm giving the blank-canvas example. A little TOK for you there. ;)

3. Describe me what "nice water" is. Do you mean by its reflections? The quality of being "fluid?" The looks, feels? What? Well, anyway, I like the water as it is. It's "Photoshoped." The program really sucks with water, so I do a little Photoshop work for the water as well. I'm not working more just to get realistic water anyway.

4. Believe it or not, I never cared if it stood out in the gallery or not. dA is a nice place where people can review my work through the interent. The real stuff is hung up in little galleries all around Japan :)

Yes, I'm a bit unclear on what I say. But if I ever explain my philosophy, ideas, and the stories to anyone, you'd all end up with a novel. With respect to your time as well, I don't want to waste it, making you read a long life-story. But anyway: thank you for a reply :)

Ever wonder why? I mean, sure, it may be a silly title but why do you think I put a really strange title? Isn't it strange for such an artist to suddenly use a really weird title related to biology?

Have you been to an art exhibition lately? Ever looked at the titles and the picture? Well, if you haven't, you got no right to critically view what I put as a title.

Ever wondered what an "average" is? My average means that the artist submits a totally blank canvas to the art museum. That's an average picture. What's yours?

Have you figured why the ripples are stolen of detail? Ever wondered what the quality was? It's like 9000X6000 reduced to just 900X600 what the hell do you expect?

Ever questioned why its a sad image? Why is it sad to you? What makes it a sad existance on deviantART? How does the word sad weigh your argument? What does the word "sad" mean anyway? Don't open your dictionary, come up with your own thoughts.

Ever thought about anything? You can't critically view and comment a piece without supporting why you say that. Compare it to other pieces, analyze the piece. Synthesize that information. You're missing most of the valued steps on an art critic. Are you going to just yab on? Or are you going to change your mind? Or are you going to not even reply? Your choice.

Just for fun i'm gonna free-translate the tittle to portuguese. Here we go:

"O sonho de uma mitocôndria e osmose entre o peróxido de hidrogénio através de um impossivel e invisivel cadeia de celulose."

Yep, still doesn't make any sense ...
