they're characters from a comic I do, which I started 4 years ago. I decided to use humanimal characters because I wasn't any good at drawing human faces. The characters here have human versions, too, but I kept them as animal things here so that they'd be recognizable as the characters from the comic.
Both look good, but the art in the 2011 one is a lot cleaner and tighter, and feels more natural, especially the way TJ's head connects to his neck. Not that I'd complain about the 2009 version
