Artists VS Stress: 001 - Scatter Focus
POV: "I cannot focus on one single project, my mind is scattered all over the place, but when I try to focus down on one, I get overwhelming feelings and stress out!"
Scatter focus seems to occur especially when we need to "multitask" or more like "multiproject" over multiple days, which is for artists a no-brainer because we do this oftentimes over months on end.
UNDERSTAND: Stress evolves into a giant monster, if your brain is not entirely connected with all the information and data it needs, as well as there is a clash of priorities.
Means, you can lower the scatter focus by creating clean sheets (f.e in Excel) where you track your project progress. Revisit your projects regularly, f.e with your morning tea/coffee and give your brain something to 'hold on'.
