Cover assignment was to simply do a Spidey/Peter Parker cover. The theme of showing half and half has been done many times but that's ok, there can be a few more.
The thing I've learned over the years is covers need to stand out on a shelf amongst 150 other comic book covers. This is a hard task. Going into a store you'll notice that the shelves are lined with skittles. Too many colors competing for your attention resulting in nothing really jumping out. With this piece, as well as many of my covers, I try to keep in simple with big, block colors. Here is white and red. White will stand out amongst the sea of colors, then the red will jump off that white and hopefully into your bag to take home!

I liked it so much, I bought the original art from Paolo @ Cadence Comic Art!
Your use of filters as texture and shadow are very effective. Definitely one of my favorite covers.
I have this issue :'D , cover is nice, and plot of the story is nice :'D
