My Bio
I have a degree in mathematics.

I like to claim that I draw web comics, but currently I hardly ever draw at all. When I’ve got time, I try to write scripts.

I develop my own fonts, I hand code Scalable Vector Graphics, I love ray tracing, and I definitely want to do something which combines all of the above.

Hi, I haven’t visited dA for a while and only now saw your comment.
I’ve bookmarked your site. Always glad to find new open source fonts I can use for comic lettering. The handwriting category on OpenFontLibrary.org has many open source fonts which could be useful additions, but few which I’d consider using for the majority of text in a comic. The only ones I know of which include breath marks are Nibby and now Vipond Comic.

I’m sure you know how I felt. But so much has changed for me just in the past twelve months that I rarely even know how I feel about it. If you’re interested, I’d love to discuss with someone who can appreciate where I’m coming from.

Thank you for commenting.

*looking up «gunship font»* …

Yes, yes it does.—Mystery solved. I never knew the design I had based this on even existed as a complete font. Clearly, Gunship is it. Thanks for the pointer.

This had probably not occurred to you, but from the moment Richard revealed that he had a superpower, I was picturing David as mocking him and taking him less and less serious as the conversation moves on. When I got to «David looks really dejected at this, having been worked up into the conversation at this point», it re-framed the conversation for me.

So—while it would seem to be redundant—a line of direction earlier in the script, telling us that David ‘catches on’, could help some readers to set the tone for David’s dialogue right on first read. But maybe that’s just me.

Oh, a typo:
I don’t want tothe world to know who I really am ;)

Anyway, hooray for trying something different! I sure did not guess correctly what he is quick at or how that would end. Unpredictable. Very much in the spirit of Monty Python.
