Hey, how was your Christmas? My mom loved the ceramic cup that I bought from you (the one with the two turtles). I was wondering, what would microwaving the cup do to it? Thanks.
Great, thank you for asking 
So happy to hear the cup was well received! It'll be fine in the microwave but it might get very hot, so I would generally avoid doing so, if possible. The cup won't discolor or shatter but it might weaken the structure of the cup in the long run.
A trick I use in my own house is to pour the drink into a glass pickling jar and to microwave that, then pour the drink back into the cup.
