Sephiroth is a very patient and dedicated man to his craft.
He makes it his personal mission outside of SOLDIER's duties and Mother's planetary obligations
to dispense his specially-grown Mako pears (colloquially referred to as "dis pears") to as many people as possible
- and more importantly, to the one man who has time and again defied his sales speech
and somehow managed to refuse to obtain his pears.
Put it simply, Sephiroth is like a determined cat whose curiosity has been pique by the ever defiant Cloud
and could never be sated until his mission objective is achieved.
