I must say that i like this one better than autumn 1, i think the tree in front ads something i bit more to the piece.
Im sure you dont mind that im going to fav this :D
Oh, and the colours are brilliant! I just love autumn colours, but being in Australia where most trees dont loose their leaves, i hardly ever get to see it, so this really brightened my day.

I totally agree with you on that its for sure that first tree :) it didnt turn out how i wanted though but it still beats the other one. And yeah it is hard to find them in Australia, same with waterfalls. Not sure which part you live in though but being from Melbourne i probably have it easier than most other parts of Australia coz its coldest here and Tassie :)

Truly stunning colors.
Everything looks so crisp and clean.
And I like how the path of the tree's makes your eyes go from foreground to background.
Thumbs up :D

Wow that's bright. I notice that for a lot of your shots you are using F2.8. I would suggest using a smaller aperture. The year I had with this camera taught me that for landscapes that helps to increase the DOF, cut down a bit on the brightness and sharpen up the edges.

Yeah i agree :) problem is i tend to need a tripod to pull it off. My lens is a bit of a cannon so its hard to get some good light in there hand held, also sways alot. My digital camera has made me a worse photographer :( but thanks so much for an actual technical suggestion i think thats the first on ive ever got :) im glad i leave in the exif now !

You're camera hasn't made you a worse photographer. I am guessing you are shooting in P mode. When I had the FZ10 I used to shoot in A mode and always leave the aperture around f4. My suggestion is get a few photography magazines and start reading :)

but seriously it is so beautiful i love those trees and the oranges and browns its like a snapshot of a place that is so special, beautiful and natural and it really touches my soul

Yeah that was deepened by the polarizing filter i put on camera. It was mostly yellowish orange before. Also deepened the green of the grass

lol i put effort into the placement of that foreground trunk... it was sposed to be more blurry. im too accustomed to the depth of field afforded by macro mode that shots like this dont come out as they do in my head

very nice shot, i like the composition of the shot n how the tree is right at the front on the side, n the colours are awesome with the lighting and the shadows cast to the sides so in other words u chose a good angle. yeh yeh im starting to crap on i'll shutup now.

yeah i did a few shots trying to get a nice angle and perspective happening. Turns out if i press display 2 times on my camera it does a 9 grid, in other words vert and horizontal 3rds so i can easily use the 3rds rule and it worked pretty well.

lol its actually sposed to be blurred. i focussed further down the way... i should have tried a focussed foreground as well but i was running out of battery it died very shortly after and stopped me from taking alot of good photos coz there were many trees that looked stunning
