So... I've been... out of touch with the DA community here for a while. I'm kinda disappointed to say that, too. I've been just trying to catch up with life and all that first before I get back into the swing of creativity. RMFC 2011 AFTERMATH Whelp, I attended Rocky Mountain Fur Con 2011 this past weekend, and there was much fun to be had! The few days before hand I was working on the upgrades and retrofit to my animatronic wings. In addition to that I patched up any problem seams on the costume, and added wing slits to my black Howie styled (Dr. Horrible styled, mind you) labcoat. Friday rolled on up and I waited for the dealer's den to open. When I finally got in there, the first thing I did was visit Julie Rouse ( <FireMaster13 (https://www.deviantart.com/firemaster13) ) at her booth and pick up the badge that she made for me! Well that worked less well than expected: PROJECT UPDATE :bulletpurple:Animatronic Tail Proof of Concept Armature So, construction was going pretty well on the tail armature, and I spent a good solid 50 hours of work on the thing. The armature is built, and when I got to testing it yesterday, it just doesn't seem to work properly. Ergo, this is going to have to wait for me after RMFC, and is thus suspended until I can think it through better. The cause of the problem is multiple things: the servos, the center core material, and the actuation cable placement. I think I know how to fix everything, so we'll see. This won't even be ready for
