Description

 -bird noise here-
First attempt of 3D in 2019!
I wanted to publish something with actual wings, and not just the chicken arms, but I couldn't figure out how, and have therefore admitted defeat for now. I will be studying how other better 3D artists approach the matter of wings, but for now,

I can summarize what I've learned in the 2018 hiatus in:
Creating shapes more so than only summoning more cubes or spheres into 3D space (..the crow??)
Splitting edges on the same mesh (shown by managing to make a beak!)
Basic Texturing with Images and nodes(Not too visible, but the eyes shine and a simple texture made in SAI by myself was used.)
Basic HDRI insertion
General Blender 3D Shortcuts are becoming slightly more comfortable to use
Lighting is easier to understand, and the Blender Principled Shader is revealing more details for me than it did when I just started out.
Particles (Hair/Feathers) seem easier to understand, I've yet to delve into "emitters" such as for fire animations, water or fireworks.

Irrelevant to the image, but important to my education;
I've been taught how to do basic animations such as camera movement
I've managed to link an object to its armature, thus done my first step into rigging! (gonna be a while)

I want to make various things and be more active this year!
For now its still mostly teaching myself stuff, using so many dang tutorials I'd usually feel ashamed, considering Im a victim of Pride.
 So, one creature at the very least, or a set of assets such as a tiny weaponry or armory per month if not every 2-3weeks depending on how fast I learn things.

inshadowz and Arvata have both been strong supporters of my 3Ding, so thank you guys! I'll keep pouring out stuff as I feel like I might have finally found my medium.

Crow Made using Blender3D 2.80 Beta, Open Source Software
Rendered using Blender 2.8's new render engine Eevee!
Crow eye texture made using PaintTool SAI

No honestly this is amazing work, the details on the feet and beak shapes are super impressive and the feather floof really gives the birb life ; ;
I dunno how you do it but it looks awesome!

And thankfully no donuts
