It's a new year and lots of people are posting new years journals and making my plans. I don't have any particular plans. I just want to keep improving in the areas of interest to me - 3D and Flash. I've made some leaps in Blender modelling wise, though I definitely have a long ways to go, and this happened before the new year started, so I don't know if I can count that. Hopefully I'll keep improving there anyway. For Flash, I've started the going slowly process of learning action script 3 with a focus on game design. I just hope I can find the time to keep working on these things plus school work.
I never have long journals. I feel like I should be ranting about something with all the many rants that have been going around, but anything I rant about has been covered. Maybe I should be looking back at 2011. What went well? I had a couple of very successful semesters. I've learned a ton. I got to see how stressed out I can get. Oooh wait, not a good accomplishment there. I started a new comic...I will finish it! .
Well not much to look back on really. So instead of boring you all to tears if anyone is bothering to read this disaster I call a journal, I will feature some people instead!
She's started writing again. Take advantage of that and go read! And, encourage to keep that up.
Out of ThymeIt wasn't until after she died that Trevor realized he couldn't cook.
The realization came six months after the funeral, when all the casseroles and baked goods were eaten and when all the flowers had long wilted, but before the critical time when he knew that it was time to box all her things away and donate them. He had started to do that, but when he got to her clothing, he couldn't take it anymore and the job was left unfinished.
There was no sudden moment of epiphany for him. He was able to cook simple things-spaghetti, soup from a can, microwave dinners, pasta and sausages, things like that. But as he stood over the stove, stirring his noodles, his eyes fell on the spice rack by the oven. It was made from wood and carved with whorls and loops-a unique piece which she had chosen from a craft fair and likely overpaid for the honour of owning. It was too small for her collection of spices; they were crammed in and had to be stacked two jars high.
The spice jars were covered in a lig
/ We became good friends this year. Yay! Now go poke her and make her draw more. She needs to do more art D:< I love her colouring style
Where are more pages?! Not that I can complain with my record of posting...His graphic novel is ever in need of more attention. Check it out!
He has lovely, cheery poetry and stories that must be read more!
I've always enjoyed her colouring skills and she keeps improving and trying new styles of drawing. Want a great gallery to look at? Go look!
She's involved in a game project with a group of her friends. What more can I say? Heheh. She does art work and gorgeous music.
My Life as a Companion wouldn't exist without her, and through that neither would The Swamp Witch. We're slow, real slow, but we always get back to things eventually! She's also got a lot of good photography.
He takes photography of lego. It might sound silly at first glance, but the work he does is impressive! Better to see than to hear about! At least when I'm the one doing the talking.
I suck at talking about people...Hopefully the samples will speak for them or will at least speak better than me.
There. Now when I leave this journal up for months again, there are at least things to look at! And I am done now. Back to my current Blender project while I still have time...Maybe I should just say back to my current project as I'll always have something on the go and keep this relevant. I guess I screwed up that aspect though already with using 'tomorrow' for going back to school...I will end this now before more senseless rambling of boredom happens.
