Tales of Fantasy Pg.03 by SiverCat Tales of Fantasy Pg.03 by SiverCat
First, I want to apologise for my boneheadedness and forgetfulness. This is page 3 of The Heroes, but I had meant to call the deviations by the actual title of Tales of Fantasy as that is the whole comic's name. I will change the titles on page 1 and 2. I'm sorry for any confusion.

This is the page where the story really starts...or starts to start as the characters are still misbehaving and knowing more than they should. Leo is really trying to get them to behave lol. So, I suppose it could be said that the real start will be page 4, though I imagine I'll lose control of my characters again at future points ;).

This is the first comic I've ever done that uses speech bubbles, so this is a learning process for me. If things seem off or crowded, it's because I'm still getting used to sizes and laying these things out. I aim to improve!

Clearly this new evil threat is either unaware that good always triumphs or is determined to beat the odds... or perhaps enjoys creating a little havoc and mayhem.

And so it begins, with a nicely summed up goal to boot. Heroes always need to know their goals.

As for the speech bubbles, I'd say for the most part they're just about right; although, for some they were just a tad bit too small for the text they had, leading to their shrunken font size. Hmm, not too sure about the green ones at the top there. The characters look nicely posed and the world there at the top is great, nicely lit resting in space.

Well, good always wins, so evil must generally be trying to beat the odds, or we wouldn't have stories. :D. The Dark Pixie Lord has plans though, MWA HA HA.

I don't know. I didn't know what colour to use and green just sort of fit. Boxes like that'll probably never be seen again.

Thank you:D

I guess that's so... though sometimes evil puts on a really good show and even appears to win before finally losing eventually. Dark plans, dun dun dun.

Sort of matched the green from the earth, maybe they were just too rounded rectangle-y. lol, bye bye boxes. Hmm, perhaps just white colored text without the boxes may have worked better.

Well, there has to be a good show, or the good wouldn't have much to do :D

Hmm...I'm not sure if just text would have worked either...ah well, we may never know.

True, and that would only result in lazy heroes that slack off and who wants to read about lazy heroes eating doritos all day?

Exactly. That would just be boring and make people who want Doritos, but don't have them, jealous =P

Ah yes, definately have to consider those poor doritoless people. In their jealousy and hunger they'd no doubt write unpleasant reviews!

And I do not need unpleasant revieaws on top of all the character trouble.

WILD! From the story to the Battle of Grandma's!

I waiting for another chance to laugh and you didn't disappoint. I will however be trying to figure out exactly where this begins. I would think at the beginning. But there was a narrator then and...oh I'll figure it out. Just keep putting pages cuz I love your humor.

Oh my grandmother on my father's side was wild. Drove her own Motorcycle and the one on my father's side was prim and proper and smart and had rock star status in our family.

 I'm not sure I'd call it a battle of Grandmas exactly. Heh. I couldn't figure out what you were talking about for a minute there.

It's starting at the beginning. The narrator parts are more like a prologue. I aim to make people laugh, so I'm glad I'm succeeding :D.

I'm not sure when page 4 will be coming along. I've been a bit busy plus I know what I want, but I need to work out all the details and make something new. *sigh* so much.

I wouldn't call our grandma wild, but she is adventurous and she is fun. She's traveled a lot, she used to have a pet snake.

You'll find that people read some of the comments as well as the stories. Otherwise I wouldn't know about the grandma's. My Grandma on my FATHER'S side was Wild. Lived to be over a hundred. Drove a Harley Davidson and for some reason her place was always filled with rather colorful characters as borders.

I'll figure out who's who and what's what. Take your time and Hurry!!

I'm sometimes one of those people. I think you've definately got us beat for wild relatives though :D

"Take your time and Hurry!!" Contradiction much =P lol. Art cannot be hurried. *tries to look pompous*

More fourth-wall breaking. It made me snicker, though I am really fond of that wall, you know.

Now, on to more pressing matters -- WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

If I'm making you snicker despite my breaking the wall you're fond of, then I must be doing something right :D. Leo's trying really hard to keep it intact! Heh.

I didn't really have a chance to get online after the last time I was on, and then my Grandma was visiting for a few days, which was awesome. I haven't seen her in at least three years.

Oh, what is she like? A conventional, quiet grandmother, perhaps? or maybe you have a more adventurous one.

To be fair, the prim and proper one is only our grandmother by marriage. Our last grandma is in a nursing home.
