November by SiverCat November by SiverCat
Some of you will probably recognise this as the teaparty picture. This is again for the 2011 calendar. My mom who was one of the driving forces behind me doing another calendar (along with ~Tanashai...) thought I should use the teaparty picture, but as neither of the original characters belong to me, Jade belonging to Namco and Lilia belonging to ~CountChristoph, I wanted to change the characters.

I decided to use this for November, because I don't really like November. I find it gloomy, so I wanted something cosy and cheerier looking.

Making all the altertations took longer than I thought...

I thought it seemed familiar...and yeah! Use your characters...I dig the size difference between the pair and how demure she seems. He reminds me of me with that cup of coffee on a cold winter day.

Nice work on the steam. I dig details like that. Shows that labor of love I speak about often.

Details, details, and steam shows the warmth, adds to the cosiness. Did I mention I don't like November? lol.

I was wondering why the picture looked so odd. Are you going to actually sell this calendar?

Through dA's Print Shop. That's why I wanted to change the characters. I doubt I'll make much off of it, but I'm really just doing it for my mom and sister. If more people buy it then great.

I can't let you use Lilia, then, or you'd have to pay a royalty (which would probably amount to all of a quarter).

(That is, of course, a joke -- you did make the right call changing the character, though.)

How would one go about sending a quarter...? :D

Trying to make money off of another's work/character is just wrong.

You could mail it to me. I'd take a Canadian quarter. It'd be novel to have one.

I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Don't Canadian quarters ever get slipped in with change? I know sometimes I get American coins.

I've seen them before (I might even have some), but I'm closer to the border with Mexico than the one with Canada. We see them sometimes here, but not often. I've also had Canadian pennies. I like how they have leaves on them.

Our money's prettier =P. I often end with at least one American penny.
