Nothing remains still: every form is undergoing a silent transformation, a change that has only just begun or is already complete. Photography, too, is part of this movement. What passes before our eyes changes its nature: it becomes a trace, a memory, a sensitive surface. In film as in digital, a fragment of the world leaves its original state and is transformed into an image.
