Fellowship Roleplays Ch 18 - Unexpected Visitor
Foxee was huddled down beside the couch, watching Merp intensely. Her tail lashed back and forth. She braced herself, wiggled a little, and then raced forward and pounced on her. Merp squeaked as the two of them rolled across the floor, and Foxee started nomming on her head.
Merp was suddenly ded.
Foxee poked her. “Merp? R u ded??” Shooba and Peggy watched curiously as Foxee licked her face.
There was a loud clattering sound in the kitchen as something crashed to the floor. With a loud snort, Mama Billy in full squear form backed out of the kitchen, messed up meatloaf all over her snout. She knocked over the kitchen table as she backed up, and then plopped herself down on the floor. She blinked at everyone curiously.
“Hello!!” Peggy waved gingerly. Shooba scooted back.
Foxee was startled for a moment. “ITS A BEAR!” She stepped protectively in front of Shooba, who gave her a tight hug.
Billy noticed Merp lying on the floor and grunted in concern. She

Six years, y'all. VT has come a long way. I wish youtubes algorithms weren't killing everything right now so they could keep excelling and growing like they deserve too. Even with the limitations though, their channel has flourished content-wise I think. Some people may still complain that "old venturiantale was better" but I think in recent months and years they've been better than ever.
I know I don't talk about them much anymore, and its been ages since I've drawn any fanart. Quite honestly, some of the fandom has been quite toxic and uninspired and discouraged me from wanting to put out any vt content at all most of the time. But I still watch every video they make, and I still love their characters. Theres still a lot of good in the fandom, and I see those people and appreciate them so much. And Im so thankful for everyone in the fandom who helped me get my start here on Deviantart. I wouldn't be the person I am today without VT. I wouldn't have met my best friends. Maybe someday soon Ill try to be more publicly active with vt again. Idk yet. We'll have to see if the right inspiration strikes. Until then Ill continue to cheer them on from the sidelines as I have been, and keep quietly enjoying everyone else's wonderful fanart. Y'all are incredible, and I love you. Take care of yourselves.
