My new comic blog!

My new comic blog!

Well, I've started up a comic blog. I've successfully kept it up for two weeks now. I'm pretty stoked about that. I was highly influenced by James Kochalka's Sketchbook Diaries. You can check it out here: sirwdchosen.blogspot.com Hope you like it. I'm gonna keep it up for a year and then I'll have a 365 page comic to publish!

Whew, what a day!

Whew, what a day!

First of all, I'd like to give a great big THANK YOU to ^oilsoaked for the wonderful Daily Deviation. It made me a celebrity for a day and got a lot of great responses to my latest Pen&Ink experiment. I'm quite flattered from the whole experience and it will really fuel my next drawings. I also, amongst all this excitement, got to see Neil Gaiman! He came down to Hobart for a reading. So, there was that excitement, too! I should also thank all the people who took time out of their day to have a look at my stuff.

Back in the Game

Back in the Game

AAAAAHA! I just went to the local art toy store and bought two of the new Nathan J "City Folk" toys. They're great and I haven't been able to stop looking at the packaging. (Almost like it better than the toys.) Anyways, that and finally finishing the some art for the Botanical Gardens has lit my creative fire to make some new art! So, I'm gonna try my hand at making an actual print that'll be available on here. I've just got to get to the drawing board....

Got here by way of you comic blog. You've got some great stuff. :)
Hello! Found you via your comic blog, and will peruse your gallery when I am not late for work! I truly love your work, though.
Thanks for that! So, you're struggling with workaholism too, hey?
Heh, yes! People keep asking me for these little green papers whenever I need something. To collect these little green papers, I have to do menial tasks for hours and hours on end. I never seem to make enough little papers, however, and have to go do the tasks again and again...
