The Chromatic Orb

A young elf wizardess practices spells, in this case the spell is "Chromatic Orb". Well, at least her pseudodragon familiar is impressed.

She also gets to practice cantrips a lot. It's a windy night and all those candles keep going out. Occasionally an old dusty book catches fire, so countercantriping is useful there too!

PS. My Bhaalspawn sorcerer knew the Chromatic Orb in Baldur's Gate II and one-shotted a red dragon with it! It was a really mean spell.
