It was interesting, when I wasn't sweating it out. I was one of those caught up in that massive storm in the eastern US, and was one of 2 million people without power. It's surprising what you hear when there isn't much to drown out the sounds in a rural area. Of course, that might have been the heat, but even so, it was an interesting experience.
After all the sweating, the water advisory, and the lack of electricity, I found a bright side to it. My fridge and freezer are the cleanest they've been in years, and there was a lot of old groceries in there! Boy do I have some work to do. Now if I can get the gas can back from my brother, I mig
