I don't know about you, but in this photo my parents' friend here reminds me of Dr. Sid from the motion picture Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.

Intended for full view.

At first I thought it was a painting of him... ^^;
The colors and shades look fantastic!

Great use of the lighting. It has an almost pastel look to it. Nice layout.

thanks, used what was available :) gee, I wish I could use pastels that realisticly. but seriously, look at a google image search for "Final Fantasy" + "Dr. Sid" ( [link] ), if they needed someone to act him in a movie with real people in it, this guy wouldn't have to change his looks :P
sune :)

ps: I appreciate that you're looking through my gallery :thanks:

-composition is good :nod:
-i would fade to total black on the left side...
-a bit unsharp, overall :p

.oops...meant the right side...

yeah its a bit blurry. was it handheld? also the background on the right edge is a bit distracting

Yes, it was handheld and with available lighting. If you turn down the brightness on your monitor (I calibrated mine with Adobe Gamma Wizard or whatever it's called) it should be almost black on the right edge.
