I've been sitting on this since December because.... just holy shit. In my little life I joined dA when I was a wee lad age of, i dunno, 15? Ten whole years I've been on this site and I have continued to stick in here like a tick even after all the eclipse changes and million other faults and growing my watcher base to 500. This Christmas though I got the biggest present I have ever gotten. I'm still at a loss of words as multiple people suggested my last work of the 2022 as a Daily Deviation and oh my god... Never in my whole existence in this platform I thought I was worthy of this thing called the Daily Deviation. I thought I was too insignificant for things like that. With all the bad news for artists like AI, Twitter news, NFTs and my own arm problems... I was sincerely going down the dumps and feeling that my art wasn't enough, I wasn't enough for the world as an artist. I contemplated quitting posting any art altogether. This gave me hope.
