I just want to say thank you again for your hard work. I was starting to work on my comic again, and hoped your textures were still here. They have been extremely helpful and lovely to work with.
I'm glad, that you still enjoy my textures here
They will always be here, it started here, so I'm thankful for that.
aw, I did not know you’re still active here! thanks a lot for the favs! ✨🫶🏻
You're welcome
Always itching for creating more textures, pretty cool textures that you have there!
totally feel you on that! sadly, not many people I remember from back then are still creating textures and stuff. yours were everywhere when way more people were into graphic design, haha.
I was honestly confused about how I missed that you're still posting, even though we're following you. turns out I'm just old and still not used to that weird "deviants you watch" section.
I stopped using dA for a few years and never really got used to the redesign, eek.
anyway, have a nice day and a relaxing christmas season!
You're right, resources like textures are almost a forgotten art these days. Those were wild years back then, about 7-8 years ago, I think. I was lucky with the algorithm here, there were significantly more talented people who actively uploaded things like textures, stock photos, etc. here, many of whom I don't see here anymore. I'm definitely grateful for the years of support, but that wasn't the main reason for me. It just became my thing somehow and I couldn't let it go. With around 2000 page views, I thought to myself (about 20 years ago?), “As long as one person appreciates what I upload, I'll keep doing it.” And thankfully, that's still the case
Your textures are what I would consider very useful, I can see immediate uses for them. I gave up on that at some point, otherwise I would have stopped doing it much earlier. I think some abstract bug bit me or something. I hope you still enjoy creating your resources; I think that's the main thing. Even in times of AI stuff, where we belong to the dinosaurs. I wish you both a pleasant Christmas season.
