This region map of Thylea is from Arcanum Worlds' new Odyssey of the Dragonlords setting.
Arcanum Worlds is James Ohlen, Jesse Sky, and others who had worked together at Bioware or in the video game industry.
They've released a free players guide - here's what they say about it...
"The Player’s Guide to Odyssey of the Dragonlords is a 28-page booklet that serves as a companion to the Odyssey of the Dragonlords campaign book.
The Player’s Guide provides you with everything you need to create a hero in the forgotten lands of Thylea."

You can get that at DriveThruRPG - www.drivethrurpg.com/product/2…
or at Modiphius, who they've partnered with - www.modiphius.net/products/ody…

I worked with them last year to create 14 maps for this setting and will release more maps as the products they appear in are released.
There's also a city map that appears in the free Player's Guide that I'll post next week.
I had a great time working with them and was happy to work with James on some other projects.
I'll keep you posted. ;) Cheers, J

Let's start with the oldest. I fell in love with this map at first sight ! The variety of terrain, the epic mountains (now a signature by themselves) and the fantastic beasts (no pun, your map is Oh so better than the movies) plus the marvelous (I used epic already) compass ! This is soo great !

Thanks Thomas :D
Themed maps can be a lot of fun to work on.
I quite enjoyed working in the Greek myth arena.
I like the terrain of that region.

Really love all those illustrations of beasties!  Also the compass rose rocks.  Another feather to add to your cap.

I decided I needed to try for more so I have started adding some life to the scene.
It adds more of a challenge for me, but people do seem to enjoy it more.

Thank you Beee :D
I enjoy working in this style.
It's very light and free.
Not super precise, yet able to be accurate.

Classic group quest format. Perfect 2019 elevator pitch would say; "It's like high fantasy Avengers" (though i started circa 2002). So, all the lovely archetypes; aging veteran, novice sorceress, bloodthirsty berzerker, the BIG GUY, etc... Very RPG inspired. Half the fun is assembling the team.

Though I've read so much fantasy between now and then, I feel like meta-narrative originality is nearly impossible!

That said, it's goal is to follow the trials of a cyberpunk special forces team -except in a fantasy format. Replace technology with mysticism. Replace the global internet with an afterlife-like alternate dimension. Replace drones with spiritual possession of 'recon dragons'. That sorta thing. Ghost in the Shell meets D&D.
