BTW zeraful, dont ask questions when you block my comment. Kinda hypocritical when you don't want to hear the answer. Perfect example of what you do when you can't win against me, and resort to cowardly actions like that. And don't try coming up with excuses like i'm a clone o_O Really, this isn't a sci fi movie. I thought you had some pride but obviously not. Your a dissapointment to humankind.

Oh dear gosh, we used non-violent means to go up against the communists since we were right. Oh my we are so horrible. You're quite mentally challenged aren't you. We haven't assaulted any lame ass communists singer or writer. You guys on the other hand are participating in human trading of Vietnamese people, and even sell your own communist people as slaves and prostitutes. Your government open fire at people who stood up against them for stealing their land, without compensating, and beat up, arrest and execute people who stand up to them and point out their wrongdoings. Oh you don't like the US, then why are you begging tol lick their arse. Your leaders off springs are all sent to the US for schooling, shows how hypocritical you are. Your just freaking jealous. Kinda contradicting yourself saying you don't need America when your leaders and future leaders are depending on the US. The US has nuclear bombs BTW, so it's not that hard to destroy you guys, but there's no merit in it. So you communist won!? Well, I'm still righteous! Look what you corrupted bastards did to the country. You guys are a dirt poor developing country were the citizens doesn't even respects the laws and there are plenty of beggars and homeless people. Are u sure you won arsehole, cause you sure ass hell doesn't look like one you looser. And what the hell you talking about clones!? You're seriously demented.

Nice drawing but the flag is the communist flag. There is the reason why the Republican Vietnam Flag was over taken by the red and yellow star flag. The Soviet Union, China and Vietnam had a red flag with a yellow star and all the 3 countries are communist. You need to do your homework before saying that "its just a flag". You could offend thousands of people looking at this drawing.

Other than that, I love the lotuses and the Ao Dai.

Totally agree with you :) There's actually millions ;D who feel sad and hurt by looking at the red flag with the star,as there's millions of Vietnamese living outside of Vietnam.

A flag is supposed to be the symbol of unity, independence and pride of a country, but I can't see much of that in the ideals of the people currently governing the country and it's laws. I've even come to know a lot of courageous people living in Vietnam who doesn't condone of the current government and oppose the government head on. Many of those who oppose them grew up thinking that the government were normal, because the government chose what is allowed and not allowed to teach in school or broadcast on the news. But when they really thought about the wrong things that kept happening in the country, they understood that the way the country is governed isn't right. Even though that always knew deep down there was something wrong from the start, it was still hard for them to accept it, since it meant they also had to accept that the country they loved and government they trusted had let them down. And many had family, friends or were even themselves a part of the government, when they realized that the government can't continue like this if they want Vietnam to prosper. I hope many people will follow these peoples footstep to help the country and stand up against the current government. For those who still believe in the government in Vietnam, I know you understand deep down that there is something wrong with the current way Vietnam is governed. I know that abandoning something you've believed in for so long is difficult, but I hope you still try. Look at the poverty there (Does the government really help?). Look at the police who are supposed to protect the people and uphold justice, instead taking bribes and abusing their power. Look at the government sending people to beat and threaten peoples family, because they protest against the government taking their land. Look at how the government sells our precious land to China, but keep the money for themselves. Look at how the government have a lot of money and use it to play around and live luxuriuosly, while the people starve. Is it fair that they can arrest you just for holding the old flag of Vietnam, or for speaking up about not liking the way they govern? Is this really freedom and Independence. Do you want Vietnam to continue in this direction. Open up your eyes and change people!

And you also offend millions of people suffered from the war wages by the ones holding the three-stripes flag. Please do your homework before telling other to do their's (And I mean "homework", not something that's passed from the old generations).

It's kinda lame, when the war was costly to both sides, but ONLY the "freedom" side think they're are the only one DESERVE to be whine about it huh?

So basically, The United States of America, a country known of it's freedom, are now "doesn't allow" people to FREELY choose of belief? That's mean a person in a "free" country cannot choose to be a communist?

Well it's you who should do your homework and check up on the facts before you speak. It's the current Vietnam who doesn't allow anybody to carry a Vietnamese three striped flag, so it's your current communist country who doesn't allow freedom you hypocrite. There's no law in the US that bans anyone from carrying whichever flag they may want, but no one would carry the filthy flag of the corrupted communists, who forced people to join their army by threatening to hurt their family and loved ones against their will.

I'm tired of this. All you do is Red Herring. If you're the "righteous" one, then why did the communists won?

Also, you guys set a 50-days campaign against one video store owner for displaying the red flag, assault a writer for carrying a red flag, boycotting a exhibition for portraying "communist" idea, and finally, assaulting a singer for being a "propagandist"

Really, you "yellow-flagger" are pathetic, and the yellow flag just getting it value lowered each and every time you guys wave it. Beside, you really think that it's okay to wave the proof of the US's greatest and most humilliating defeat IN THEIR FACES?

And next time, if you want to argue, don't use clones.

Actually, I don't know the details. I don't even know if it's actually "banned" to have it in the US. Sure it might anger some of your neighbors if they were sensitive about the vietnam war, but I don't think there is an actual law saying that the "yellow star with the red background" flag is banned from view. If you DO find the law somewhere, quote it exactly and cite it cause I'm really interested to see it myself.

and Actually, there are some people who are communist believers in the USA, though they were a minority. America is run by the majority of the people, so that's why it's not not really known that there were communist believers in it.

Actually, she's was talking about the event where the entire Vietnamese American in Orange County was protesting against ONE man for having a red flag and displaying a portrait of Ho Chi Minh at his shop:)

Ok, That's not America (as a whole) that were protesting. That's just the vietnamese community of orange county. I've been to orange county plenty of times and I know there are a lot of vietnam war refugees living there, most coming from south vietnam.

Now imagine the land you lived in for almost your whole life was taken over by another country. Your house was probably burned down and maybe your loved ones were killed. You were able to run away from the war to another country, but you had to start life all over again. Finally overcoming hardships to barely make a living, you see someone yield a flag of the country that made you start your life all over again. Would you be angry?

And would the Vietnamese back home asking the same question about you people? Their families got separated, their right of a united Vietnam was taken, and foreingers are using their own people to fought against them who fought the foreigner?. Not to mention their house was bombarded, their belonging was taken away, their relatives was killed by US soldiers when the South soldiers who supposed to protect them was just standing there doing nothing? WOULD THEY'RE BE ANGRY?

It's kinda sad when the war was costly to both sides, but it's just lame when one side is claiming the right to while about their losses, and their enemy losses (even that's is way bigger than their's) was worthless?

No? It represents the country :| It doesn't STAND for communism. yes the undertone is that it's unified under communist rule, but it's still a unified country. I do not accept the yellow flag - A - but again. All personal opinion

I also did not say it stood for communism, I mean that it represents a country that is communist. So people in the USA are still sensitive about it. The Vietnam war was not a pretty war at all. =.=
