This wallpaper was designed for a friend's birthday.
This is the original logo as used by the Chargers (along with the awesome light blue and white uniforms) from 1961 to 1973. The only pictures I found of the original were a little fuzzy and unsuitable for wallpaper work, so i had to do the whole logo again -- FROM SCRATCH.
The font used in the image is Rockwell Condensed font, which isn't an exact match to the original font but is fairly close with a little blurring. The whole shebang was done over the course of about 6 hours (three if you don't count the time I spent trying to find the damn font - thanks to Myfonts.com for the recognition software). Done, as usual, in GIMP 2.0.
