I have a crazy theory that Craster is Aemon's unknown bastard, from a slip-up when he was young. That's why the White Walkers are interested in Craster's sons, as they have Targ blood in them
Just met these guys! What happens beyond the wall...stays beyond the wall. At least until winter comes. Or if a ranger abandons his post and flees south. Or direwolves. Anyway these guys are creepy and gross and sad and they live past the wall.
There is a loooooot of incest in these books. Craster, the Targaryens, the Lannisters, Asha and Theon...seriously, Asha, what the hell? I mean, there's messing with your brother and then theres....messing...with....your brother.
As an older sister myself? No. Hell no. God-damn-flaming-hellfire-damn-hell no. I guess it's not that incestuous, it seems more like she's kind of asserting her dominance...like the "Tsst!" in the dog whisperer. Only on his crotch. I guess you grow up among a bunch of lusty raiders and sailors...well when in Rome. Or Pyke. Asha's still pretty cool though.
Theon's sort of a fish out of water...Or a wolf-kraken hybrid treading water in kraken-infested waters. Asha lightens up Pyke considerably compared to Balon and Damphair. I see what you mean about the Greyjoys being different now. They're like...pirates mixed with vikings mixed with knights. Which is awesome.
