Blue Bird Concept - Corbin the Microraptor

I am oddly proud of how I doodled this without looking at a reference. The only time I did was because I put the nostril too high and it looked weird. However after looking at the reference I know I messed a lot of stuff up, whoopsssss... Oh well, I was more interested in trying out colors based on the few second doodle of the first time I drew the little birb.

The little pet/familiar was going to be a crow to keep with the wolf and crow theme, but then I realized that, this is my fantasy world, I can do what I want, so I made Corbin a little microraptor because they're tiny and look heckin' adorable. They're like crow-chickens. Perfection.

I was inspired by the the white-collared blackbird for the chest area, since it looked neat, and I made it a little bluish. I want him to be a dark colored, iridescent microraptor with some type of blue on it, but I'm still trying to figure that out. Oh well, enjoy!
