Sintilation

Ok.....so....I am halfway through my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. I will be done with my coursework by January of 2009, then 6 months of internship, and finally I can begin my PhD. I think that I have virutally narrowed down my doctoral specialization to Educational Psychology so that I can utilize it to instruct at Universities, and eventually become a Dean. For my thesis I will outline the trauma that someone who identifies as gender queer or T experiences with today's mandatory gym and swimming credits to graduate. Soooo, I am finally on my last semester and will graduate in August with my first of 3 Psychology degrees. Problem is this....do I specialize in transgendered counseling, child psychology, or addiction counseling?I have applied for a job as an Addiction Therapist at the Veteran's Administration in Detroit. It is a part time position and offers 36 days off per year, as well as wonderful Federal benefits, and a sweet pay structure. My only hesitation is that I detest addiction........ I understand addiction, I understand the disease as well as the problematic behavioral after effects, unfortunately I have no compassion for addicts.BLAH....Ma...
