Krtd Interactive by sinthux

So I haven't uploaded anything in quite a while, or been active at all on dA. My new home is Dribbble, if anything. I haven't been very active on social networks in general, though. Since it's my birthday, I figured I'd share something with you guys on this momentous occasion in which I'm no longer a teenager (I'm now 20).

Krtd Interactive (Kreatude.com) is a little project I've been working on for quite some time, and has gone through a lot of iterations. This version is already coded, but the entire site is not complete yet, so no live version yet!

P.S. I'll be uploading another design (specifically a WordPress theme) around October 10th-20th. So keep watch for that!

slick and nice design, although the navigation is going under a bit facing all the visual distraction. but well, it's there 3 times, so i guess ppl will find their way through it :-D

also looks a bit constrained and thus difficult to maintain. feel free to tell me the opposite

I love how simple the layout is. With all the text added, it could have easily been 'overcrowded' feeling but it looks balanced. Love the colours too! Great job (:

This is fantastic work! I'm glad to see more design in the Daily Deviations. The colors are fantastic, and have this great autumn vibe to them that is quite timely! The subtle details like the small curved corners, drop shadows, textures, and stiching/dashed lines are very nice touches that add plenty of visual interest to the design. I can't really say much more about it! I hope through practice that I can become as talented as you are (and certainly talented enough to be on Dribbble)! Best of luck! I can't wait to see this go live!

Verry nice, but looking at all the fontstyles you used im not so sure about the usability of the design. Once coded this wont look the same (except you use cufon on all the fonts..)
Same goes for the portfolio items, when you go using longer names you will have to cutt them halfway..

Though, big compliment for the color scheme

loving it. Same goes for the content boxes, nice shadows and you sure have a good eye for pixelperfection

Cufon can actually make line breaks, so having a long title in Cufon won't do anything. I did have a bit of a Cufon phase, so I'm debating whether or not to make it just a basic font, or possibly something like @font-face, and choose something custom that also looks smooth.

I appreciate your compliments, it's been a lot easier to be pixel-perfect with the help of the 960 grid system.

I should try that out soon.
Cufon is great, though I think its a no-go for anything besides titles. Large pieces of text would take "long" (whats long nowadays.. say up to 2,5 sec) to load.. So basicly its not an option if your serving visitors with a slow computer or internet speed (loading can go upto 6-7 sec...)

This is true, although high-end clients typically have good computers. The userbase is always something to consider. For example, if you've got a site that caters to web designers, it's pretty safe to use HTML5/CSS3, as they've most likely upgraded to the latest FF, or Safari.

Haha do you mean nice? The first thing I thought was 'noise' which was a little meme on Dribbble about this designer named Broderick that uses noise as an effect on a lot of his designs. So people started submitting stuff with noise on it and calling it Broderick'd.
