It's been almost a week. I didn't have the strength to write much, and I'm not going to be too terribly eloquent or verbose. I just wanted to acknowledge like all others I was a pretty decent David Bowie fan. He was someone I started listening to when I was just a little toddler. My mother would play Ziggy Stardust on her record player while I played with my Strawberry Shortcake dolls in the living room. My first album I ever got that was actually mine, was a Cassette Tape of Never Let Me Down. I played that tape to death. Dancing in my room, singing along. After I saw Labyrinth at the movie theater I thought, not only does he have the most incredible voice, but he's beautiful too. He was like some mythical creature from another world. It's hard now to even think it possible for him to be mortal. He was never mortal to me. And I suppose in a way he still isn't. I mourn for the loss of one of my very favorite musicians, I mourn for the loss of the one and only Goblin King. And I give my respects and prayers to his family. A tragic loss for all. He will never be forgotten. Always remembered.

I went, I saw, I conquered! lol In all seriousness I am exhausted, and just got back from an awesome dinner with my family. The snafucon was such fun, it was the first time I ever signed up as a staff photographer for a convention and it was so worth it! I met Chuck fucking Huber man! I met Tiffany Grant, "The Tardis", Jan Scott-Frazier, WindoftheStars Cosplay, Tanglwyst de Holloway (who is the lovelist lady ever), Steve Nunez, Christopher Escalante, and Fazio! All these people were guests at the show and were so awesome and amazing! And I can't forget the SNAFUCon staff and volunteers, such an eclectic and superb group of people who work really hard, some are still working hard right now. I appreciate them welcoming me into their tight group of anime fans and snafu nerds! Such a pleasure! Can't wait to do it again next year!!

The middle of this year is starting soon, and I am crazy busy!
I just started learning how to take Macro shots. I'm practicing with my Point and Shoot Canon right now. And the results I am happy with. I'm also working non-stop for SPHINEX Magazine. Our first Magazine Issue will be available at the end of this May! We are very excited! If you don't know about us please go check us out. We are currently working on the website and I will update just as soon as it is ready, so for now go here: www.facebook.com/sphinexmag

I have purchased so many flowers over the past 2 weeks my front and back yard are really starting to look like a Garden! I've really been into Orange/Yellow/and White flowers recently, :rizzajaxicon: recently brought to my attention that perhaps I need some blue in my group of flowers. She's right. Now I have to find some I like.

I will also be placing some new night shots. Hopefully soon!

Hope all is going well with everyone! Drop me a line to say Hi! ^.^b

I crack an eye open to find the sun has found its way into my bathroom window, this window is just below the ceiling, it has no drapes and has pretty little etched flowers in it. The lines of each curve and flower are now printed over the closed door to my shower and the light bends into the rest of the room, it spills across my bed and right into my eyes. Yes yes, I will wake up now sun.

Most of the time I would be terribly upset over the suns invasion of my sleep time. But the hour was late and the family and chores within my home will need my attention. Last week instead of getting upset over the suns change in direction I decided to embrace it. I want to wake up a little earlier in the morning. Open the windows, let more light in, let more of nature show. I can't live in a cave, that's for sure. And more coffee, more coffee is needed.

I think I was living in a cave all winter. And although I love fall and winter. I wasn't doing enough. Now that the snow is slowly melting and the grass is growing greener with every passing day-I too want that change and growth.

My husband and I are planning to visit Crater Lake in Oregon. Since we live much closer than we use to now. I am very excited to take night pictures from the Lake. I will also be attempting my first shots of the Milky way next month. I'm taking some online classes for Night Photography to better myself in the knowledge of photography and cameras.

And with a slight bitterness I am happy to see all my friends getting ready for all the conventions and functions I will not be attending this year. This year is my year of focus- Family|Self|Home. I've hidden behind things and become such a procrastinator in the past couple years, practically a shut-in. I need to really push myself. I think I've found the path this time. The right one, the one I am happy with. By next year no bitterness at all will be found, not a trace.

Although the nights are still cold and the clouds cover my serene sky, I make a hot cup of tea and sit on my porch in the wee hours of night. I shall turn those nights into afternoons. I want to see the sun, I want to see. I've been in such a rut, whatever is drawing me out, I want it to continue...

Hey Guys!
Happy 2013- I have been sick for the past 3 weeks. Not flu or anything too serious, just bad throat and nose issues. It's been really cold here recently, in the singles at night and super cloudy, snowy, or just plain hazy so no new shots, but hopefully I'll be able to get some killer shots of the new years first full moon. Totally looking forward to that!

I have also written a blog post on www.Bosskey.org it's regarding the latest news on Skyrim DLCs for PS3. So please go check it out. And don't forget to like Bosskey on facebook and/or Twitter!

I have decided this year I will be attending SNAFU CON in Reno, I don't know as yet, but I may even draw some new art and rent a booth at Artist Alley. It's an ongoing thought, nothing in stone yet. Sounded like fun tho. Kind of a why not, what the hell moment.

I will NOT be attending LOJ this year. Unfortunately I am taking a 1 year Hiatus from the magical night. But most likely will be attending next year.

And yes that means Im going to dust off the old digi pen and tablet and create some images. Some Anime Fan Art and some original art.

So that's about it. How's everyone else? Have any plans this year? Lemme know...

The Holidays are once again upon us. Cold weather, snow possible, rain definite. Jam packed parking lots and malls galore. Presents and eggnog, and family. All the hoopla, the lights and music. Its nuts.
I am looking forward to some things this month. Getting some decent shots of the sky and watching the Geminid Meteor shower, grabbed a couple shots last night. My bestfriend and her husband and child are coming this afternoon for a weekend visit-which is pretty exciting considering we've lived up here for almost 2 years and this will be her first visit. I will enjoy that. :)

I hope everyone stays positive and doesn't let the Holidays bring you down. Often that does tend to happen to some people. Not all is bad, not all is lost, not always will it be this way.

I ended my Devart subscription after 5 years. I found that giving my monies to this site was a rather silly fantasy, considering all I am paying for is keeping ads off of my page. And adding additional monies to groups this site gives money to that I would rather not associate with.
As my 10th year on this site approaches I have made some serious changes and doubt I will be very active on here. I tire of the same old rhetoric from the same groups. My life has changed so drastically in those 10 years. I have focus and determination now. Wouldn't change it for the world.

So to those who have watched me from the beginning and even the new ones- I hope all your Holiday wishes come true, except those that are far too extravagant, no one needs extravagance. Just a nice realistic wish will do. Don't be too greedy. heheh.

Merry Christmas. because I love being politically inccorrect.

The Labyrinth of Jareth XV

Tue Jun 12, 2012, 9:42 PM

The 15th Annual Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade is coming up in 2 1/2 weeks. June 30th is the day I will be attending. Any and all peoples within my group-labyrinthofjareth.deviantart.c… any other Deviants that will be attending Saturday (30th) please join us for a group photo. We are trying to get as many people on here to gather together, show off your costumes and smiles as we dance the night away in the Royal Sypher Court!

I am so excited about this years LOJ. I will be attending with the fabulous SevenDeadlySins-this year she will be Envy! Don't miss out! Tickets are still on sale, but going fast! If you want more information please go to my club link above.

As for the life of Sintar- I have been doing well. Just getting ready for the above Masquerade and also looking at the stars. I have progressed from graphic design, and have decided to turn my passion towards something I have always enjoyed, since childhood, but never had the money to do it. I am now enjoying the hobby of Astronomy and Astrophotography! I have a few telescopes, and also some nice filters, I am acquiring what I can, when I can, and as the months go by you'll see more and more of what I do at night. :) I do hope you enjoy looking at the images as much as I enjoy taking them! As for that, nothing else is really going on in Sintars life. And she likes it that way. Drop me a line, let me know what's going on with you? I am always interested in what my friends have been doing. :)

Poor Thane

Journal Entry: Tue Mar 13, 2012, 1:41 PM
Hey guys! This is Commander Sintar and I have been out of commission for awhile. I've been busy home schooling my child, and I have also been playing way too many video games! But they're so good! I can't stop! I obviously have an addiction.

So first to come and take over my life was Skyrim. I have clocked over 300+ hours on this game. My character is awesome, and perhaps next year, I might create a costume based on her. (Yes she's that awesome). She's a mage, and I already beaten the main story line. But that's on the shelf till further notice.
And now of course I have succumbed to Mas Effect 3. And this journal is my RIP for Thane. I romanced Thane in ME2 because he was my favorite love interest, he was cool, calm, collected, and seemed very ronin, very samurai, very zen. That is highly attractive to me. So what if he looked like a fish! He was freaking cool! Anyway as if you didn't see it coming, since he has Kepler's disease, he is dying, and isn't going to try and save himself, not even for the Commander.
Now here come the SPOILERS- I will say that although he attempted to fight off another cool assassin, he was slow and dying, and it didn't work well in his favor. His ending, although most likely what he loved (as a character), I thought the Commanders play of it, was off. She seemed indifferent to him dying, no real emotion. I'm torn. Should it be this way? Perhaps this is very Japanese in it's ending. A knowledge of his passing was already in the cards, it was a very Taoist way of letting him go, of mourning him.  But when the doors close in the hospital and you go back to the Normandy, and nothing is said, nothing is done, it's kind of sad. Like maybe Thane cared more for the Commander than she did for him? Just a little too quick and painless for the Commander I think, it made her look immune. When others die, she shows a little more depth. That's all I can really say about that. I thought it was cold, that's all. And on another note of SPOILERS- I was REALLY broken up about LEGION! I love him, he was the coolest character, next to Garrus of course! But I really liked him. I was pretty upset about his passing.
I still haven't beaten the game, and I'm already hearing shit all over about it's ending. So please don't COMMENT on it. I will decide for myself. I'm sure it's like many Japanese Animes for me, a great story, with a really shitty or WTF ending. I'm use to disappointment, so it's okay.

Anyways, I hope to have Art up soon, haven't been working on anything, but that isn't to say I won't be soon. I also have been taking many pictures, I like taking pictures, but I'm no expert. Still fun though. I will also  be getting some new filters for my Telescope, and I will also be purchasing a better camera. I have an intent to take some awesome photos of the planets, let's hope all works out!

So how has everyone else been?

And yes for those of you into or know about my lust for LOJ. I will be attending this year. I won't be dressing in anything awesome. I mean it will be pretty, but nothing crazy till next year. I am doing another Steampunk Victorian costume, green and black so far. If anyone is attending, don't forget to go to my Fan Page for LOJ, link is below this journal.

Catch you guys later, and for those I haven't spoken with in a while, drop me a line...
