I started drawing at two-and-a-half and doodled dinosaurs, monsters, spaceships and military aircraft in the margins of my note books with pencil, pen and colored pencils until I graduated from high school.
I went on to the military at seventeen and while stationed in Japan, served aboard a carrier in the U.S. Navy and drew a couple of tattoos for shipmates while also briefly drew a comic strip about the guys I worked with (until one of the new guys saw his character and went on a rampage).
I got an early model IBM PC years back and on the first day drew a space scene in Paintbrush with my mouse. My hands have been a little stiff the last couple of decades for any prolonged pen or pencil drawing--unfortunately.
I have a new digital drawing pad but it's still in storage until my office gets refurbished.
If you have any questions, want help or to collaborate I am an open book--feel free to ask. I'm also too lazy to dive into anyone's deep projects though, so don't get your hopes up.
I don't "work the system" on DA (though I probably should) and survive only by eating the occasional llama other people throw me now and then. Honestly, I am totally baffled by who sees my pages and who responds--it seems absolutely random with ages and ability levels all over the map. DA remains a mystery to me overall.
But, if you're not porn site, scam artist or a 'bot, stop in and say "hi" or something, if you want.
