I wish I had the patience to do backgrounds like this...

Tell me how do you color your backgrounds where they blend with the foreground so well?
Mine always end up looking like they were done separately from the foreground.
One reason I don't do backgrounds often I've not been able to figure out how to make them blend.

AWESOME. so she's the last human existing and the rest of the world is flooded? Either way, this drawing is pretty fishtastic. Did I say fishtastic? Oops. I meant fantastic. 

When I was little I've always wondered what would happen if the building I'm in suddenly flooded. The first thing to come to mind was swimming. I loved exploring my pool and put things in for me to dive down and pretend I'm a little sea witch looking for ingredients for my next potion X). This pic reminded me about a part of my childhood. Thank you for that.
