It may come as a shock, but I haven't vanished off the face of the Earth quite yet.How're things? For me, relatively uneventful. In the past year, nothing much of note has really happened. It's just been day-to-day life. Which I can't complain about.Mentally, I'm not in my best place, but I'm certainly no longer in my worst.I'm still pretty much the same as I've always been, just a lot quieter and a bit more cynical.

I turned twenty years old a few days ago.When I turned 18, I didn't feel much different. Now that I'm officially no longer a teenager, the pressure of adulthood seems to have come crashing down on me.I've gotten pretty used to a laid-back lifestyle, and it's becoming more and more apparent that I must take on more responsibility. It's a bittersweet feeling.I may have acquired a real job but I've yet to be sure. Money management has not been my strong suit this past year so I'm working hard to fix that, and gather a decent amount of cash by the time Sakura-Con rolls by.I'm reading more (actual novels). My goal is to finish one novel per wee...

In all honestly, I'm worried that it won't be that great, though the teaser actually alleviated my fears. But that's neither here nor there.It is 2015. Soon I will have been alive for twenty years. I've made it this far, so hopefully I can hang in for twenty more.My writing has been coming along pretty well. I'm still searching for employment, but I'm sure it will come when the time is right.I need a new keyboard. This one is all sticky (not like covered with a sticky substance, but the keys stick and you have to press really hard).Anywho, I'm doing well all things considered. Hope this year is even better than the last and you all do well!
