The taming of the light by Sinande The taming of the light by Sinande
The greatest drawback of being a night owl is that by the time you scrape yourself out of bed, sip your "morning" tea and haul your lazy arse to your favourite spot on a winter afternoon, most of the light is gone. I made a few half-hearted attempts with these 'shrooms, my hands shook, I got frustrated and left. Then the idea struck.

Hello, cameras have flashes, y'know?!

Except when you flash-photograph something from a few inches, the end result is rarely very artistic. Good thing I had a pack of tissues in my pocket! With one of them wrapped around the flash, you can actually see mushrooms and not just a big white blob =P

Cropping and levels adjustment in the GIMP, because not even a cheap tissue can solve all your problems.
