. I fell into my own trap with this one. Earlier, we'd discussed things we would like to see more often in palaeoart, and, well, we all agreed that dinosaurs doing "birdy" things is one of them. I suggested dust baths. Then I got asked to do it
I used ~shartman
's skeletal of Dave, that beautiful fuzzy fossil of a young dromaeosaur, as a reference, but honestly I don't think the finished product is especially Dave-like. So, let him just be an unspecified young dromaeosaur taking a dust bath.
I have to say, me and perspective, or shading, or *feathers* don't really get along. Still, I'm satisfied with this guy if only for the fact that I actually drew him. Hope the queen of painting fuzzy birdosaurs likes it too
