Welcome to SimplyFanatics. We are fans of different shows and genres together to make one community in one group. Membership: Membership is automatically accepted. To become a member simply click join the group towards the top of the page. When applying to become a member be sure to be a watcher of deviations as well as journals so you don't miss out on anything. Submissions: To submit to a gallery you must be a member. Each member can submit 2 submissions to each folder per day. Their are several ways to submit art. One way is to go to the folder you would like to add art to and click contribute art in the upper right hand corner and select the piece you would like to add. Be sure to submit to the correct folder. Only finished works please; no works in progress. Once submitted I will go through and accept them. This group accepts artists of all types regardless of how they make their art or whether they are new or professionals. The only thing that is expected is that the art have some effort put into it and that it is not disrespectful to the fandom. Folders: This group has folders for fandoms of movies, music, gaming, youtube, books, anime, and tv series. Folders for tv shows are separated by the television stations that air them. If you would like one added please send a note. This group is not a super group nor do I have the means to be able to make it one though I would love to. Since it is not a super group I can not make subfolders in each folder so that is why they are separated by station not specific shows as well as station. Please submit to the station that airs the shows originally not stations that pick up shows and air reruns. Please read the folder descriptions below and if you are not sure where your image would go you can Google the show and it will tell you which station it airs on. Each folder accepts fan fiction, cosplay, photography, photo manipulations, fan art, ect as long as it belongs in that folder it will be accepted. Featured: For our members work. If a work is requested into the group and the artist is not a member it will not be featured here, but if they become a member it will be. You can not submit directly to this folder. Movies: This is an immensely broad category, but it is for all movies regardless of genre. If it is a movie that is the product of a television series put it into the folder for the station the series belongs to not here. Music: If you have any fan art of a musician this would be where it goes. If you have original lyrics they wouldn't be fan work. If the original lyrics are for a show like trock, wrock, sherock, ect. They would go into the station the show airs on not here. Also if the person is a youtuber also known for their music put it in the youtuber section not here. This folder is strictly for fan work based on a band you like. Gaming: For any video games regardless of gaming system or maker. Table top games would also go into this category. Youtubers and social media stars: Any fan art of someone who makes content on Youtube or is famous through social media. Examples: Markilplier, Jacksepticeye, Jenna Marbles, Good Mythical Morning, Dan and Phil, PewDiePie, etc. Books and Authors: Any book series or singular book you are a fan of. Pictures of authors go here as well. If a book has been made into a film or television series your source material dictates which folder it goes into. If it depicts a character played by a certain actor it would go into the folder of the series or film not here. Sports: This includes any fan art of professional or well known college sport teams, players, ect. It is fan art of teams not the sport itself so no generalized I love football pictures or pictures of yourself or friends playing a sport. Historical and Religious Figures: includes fan art of any religious icons, presidents, royalty, inventors, etc. Does NOT include athletes, actors, musicians, or authors as there are already folders for them. This also does not include historical figures that are represented based on an image from a history channel show. Professional Theater: includes fan art related to professional theater productions. This would include art for lyrics of theater musicals, actors playing certain roles, etc. Some examples of theater Professional Theater productions include wicked, hamilton, les mis, chicago, once, rent, book of mormon, cats, kinky boots, phantom of the opera, Jersey Boys, etc. Do not post pictures of local or school theater events or pictures depicting the film version of plays as those would be put into movies. Also shakespeare works if not directly linked to the theater productions would be put into books and authors or movies. While Hamilton is about historical figures if it is related to the play it would be in this folder, if directly depicting the historical figures it would go into historical and religious figures. Anime and Manga: This is for Anime in the form of television, animated film, or manga comics. TNT: For all shows original to the station TNT on air or off. Example: Perception, Rizzoli and Isles, Falling Skies, Franklin and Bash, The Closer, ect. USA: For all shows original to the station USA on air or off. Examples: White Collar, Burn Notice, Covert Affairs, Suits, Royal Pains, Necessary Roughness, Fairly Legal, Graceland, Mr. Robot, ect. BBC: For all shows original to the station BBC regardless if it is bbc1,2 America, ect. Example: Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, Broadchurch, Being Human, Luther, Torchwood, Primeval, Robin Hood, etc. NBC: For all shows original to the station NBC on air or off. Example: Law and Order and spinoffs (aside from Law and Order UK), Hannibal, Grimm, Chicago Fire, Revolution, Smash, Parenthood, ect. SYFY: Previously SciFi. For all SYFY original shows and SyFY original movies on air or off. Example: Being Human, SYFY Alice, Tin Man, Alphas, Face Off, Defiance, Lost Girl, Warehouse 13, Ghost Hunters, ect. CBS: For all shows original to CBS on and off air. Examples: NCIS and Spinoffs, Criminal Minds, The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, How I Met Your Mother, CSI and Spinoffs, ect. HBO: For all shows original to HBO on and off air. Examples: True Blood, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Entourage, Deadwood, etc. FOX: For all shows original to FOX on and off air. Examples: Glee, Bones, New Girl, The Following, The Simpsons, Family Guy, House, Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey, ect. The CW: For all original CW shows on and off air. Submissions and Folders
Hello. I have been manually managing this page for 8 years. I created this page because I wanted a fanart page that had an organized system. I am not on Deviantart as much anymore and really the only reason I come on here now is to go through accepting and moving art into the right folders. For this reason I am deciding to set the folders to auto accept. I would love if people would be more cautious on only submitting fan art and submitting to the appropriate folders since I am no longer going to be accepting them and moving them into the right place. I will be on occasionally to make sure the folders aren't full. If one fills up please send a note to me and be patient. I will check it when I am online and add folders as needed. Thank you.
