the Alley

By SimonWeaner
Its been awhile, phew!

Lot of things happened the past 2 months, I was away in Montreal, I worked at Eidos there for quite a bit , project I sadly cant talk about. I've been doing lot of photography lately as well, those who follow me on flickr, facebook and twitter knows ;)

so here it is, my follow up to 'leave him' [link] I really enjoyed to explore a lot more the story, environments, characters etc behind it. Piece itself could use little fix here and there but yeh, ref. [link]

hope you enjoy and thank you!

Wait, that person is not a photo? WHAT.

My favourite part of this piece, in terms of looking like a photo, is actually that red and white sign on the far left, in the shadows. I looked at it, and immediately I was sucked into this universe. I think it was a nostalgic feeling from seeing a sign like that sign and actually being there on a rainy night before, but... My god, just the emotions you get when you look at is. Absolutely stunning.

This is nothing short of amazing! It reminds me of the city in Blade Runner :D I like how tiny the man on the right looks in comparison. It makes me wonder who or what he's hiding from.

This is so sick . Amazing work. just wanted to point out that left part shows 'hindi' script which makes the scene looks like its in India, whereas the script in the middle is chinese/japanese

I noticed that, too. Perhaps it's part of the setting? Imagine a place where there are so many different cultures -- I say a big tourist-filled city, probably on the edge between the Middle East and Asia. It even looks like it's in the middle of a war, what with that man against the wall.
