My Bio
Simon Park has been an avid artist his whole life, striving to create a style that is unique, provocative and powerful.

Influenced by modern fantasy films, comics, orchestral scores and rennaissance art, he uses cross-hatching and vivid colours, With a heavy emphasis on dynamics, scale, tiny details and down to earth characters to drive forward the old adage that every picture tells a thousand words.

He does not usually intend a specific story during the creation process, but rather builds an elaborate snapshot for the viewer to imagine a story for.
Many of his works are intended to open dialogue; to embrace or question ideals and ideologies of modern society, and look upon them with new eyes.
He relishes in hiding in plain sight details which the viewer can find upon a second or third viewing.

His time not spent with his partner :iconbizkit66: and their children, or curled up somewhere drawing, is spent hiking, mountain climbing and meditating.

I do commissions for points too =P

So. A heck of a lot has been happening in my life for quite some time, meaning I havent been able to get online anywhere near as much as i once did. And this on top of lockdown too - home schooling and full time dadding has pretty much been my life for quite some time. BUT I have been drawing like a man possessed, and will have many uploads coming in the near future. I have headed in a new and strange direction again.... so watch this space, my friends. The thing is, I have just gotten a new computer, and its taking my tech-less mind a little while to get to grips with it. windows 10 is a whole new ball game, and the pc itself is taking some getting used to. I mean, i didn't even know what "steam" is until recently. I just have to get it hooked up to my scanner now - wait, where did i put that again...? So. I'll be back on here again soon, uploading some new stuff. peace out, fellow comrades! Hope you all have a wonderful day, ~Simon

Just a thought from a fellow artist here as coronavirus becomes a very real issue for all of us. The shops are emptying, the schools are shutting. people need to practice a new level of care when being in public. BUT -and this is important- We will pull through this like we always have, throughout history. world wars, bubonic plague... panicking will not help. vigilance and care will. and while we are all being distant from each other physically, the interwebs gives us a beautiful opportunity to still be close to each other. we can still share what we do on our own in our homes - our art, and in essence our spirit, our message to t
