My Bio

My website is the best place to go to find out about what I do! In general I research art and crafts from about a thousand years ago, and then combine it with what's around at the moment.

This is partly because I reckon that too many babies got thrown out with the bath water during the modern period, but also because I recognise that many of the ways in which our lifestyle has changed as a result of the clockwork age is very beneficial.
So keeping the best from the past, following a path of Faith and learning to live in the digital age is my art.

Thank you to whoever gave me core membership! I have had this account for a long time. It was especially handy when I lived beyond the tarmac and at the edge of broadband. It helped me connect to the wider world. I have recently returned to using it more actively. It is good to explore artwork and avoid simply doomscrolling. When I started everything fitted under the "Wordsmithcrafts" username. Over the years though Wordsmithcrafts has become bigger than me. So, now I can focus on my artwork a bit more. Hence I have changed my username.
