What's Your Wand Challenge

Hello Deviants!

It's been a while since our last challenge, but I managed to make a new one in collaboration with DeviantArt. And of course it's the perfect challenge to get your inner witch or wizard excited! Also with, I might say, a pretty epic prize! (Pssst to the future winner.. I might even be a bit jelly!)

This month, the challenge is called...

So imagine yourself as a witch or wizard or whomever is possessing a wand! Are you reading a book with people using magic? Do you like to draw fantasy-related stuff? Are you playing a cool game where you fight with magic? (Slight hint to the amazing prize!) Let that inspire you and draw the wand that represents you best!

What I'm trying to say is, anyone can join this challenge! Don't think you have enough experience to join in the fun? Don't worry, we added a nice starter kit for you. Of course, if you wanna make something totally different, that's no problem either! The only thing you need is a spark of magic and your imagination.

What kind of magic do you use this wand for? Does it have natural details like leaves or flowers, eyes, stars, or maybe it can even summon ghost cats? The options are infinite so just have fun with it, and I'm sure you guys will surprise me with the amazing stuff you come up with! Any media is allowed as long as it's an original piece — draw, paint, sculpt… any technique that you prefer!

I will be announcing the challenge on my stream on Twitch. If you have any questions or you need to get inspired, I'm sure our community can help! I'll also show the entries during my streams from time to time! :)

How to Enter

• Draw the magic wand you came up with.

• Upload on DeviantArt & use the tag “#whatsyourwand”

• Be 13+ years of age or older.

• You can enter multiple entries, but only win once.

• Download the wand template, if you want to use it.

• Read the Official Rules before submitting: here.

Prizes

• 1st Place: Next-Gen gaming console and 1-Year Core Pro

• 2nd Place: 1-Year Core+ and 8,000 DeviantArt Points and 900 Fragments

• 3rd Place: 1-Year Core and 4,000 DeviantArt Points + 900 Fragments

Winners

The challenge will run from March 5 and it will end March 21 at 11:59:59PM Pacific Time. Winners will be announced on March 24.
