Radio Silence

Hey alllll,

So sorry for the radio silence the past month or two. I got pretty sick for awhile and then the ceiling collapsed in my bathroom from a long unknown leak from the flat above me. It's been a mini nightmare dealing with insurance and factors and just uuugghhh. Turns out at least two joists need to be replaced which means not only do they have to tear out my whole ceiling in my bathroom and my spare room, but also the entire floor upstairs. So far all I've had are people come look at it. Or in the case of one guy, not actually look at it and try to convince me it was fine. I had to call my factors and tell them to get someone else to look at it. So I've been pretty much constantly on the phone trying to chase this down. I still have a gross mouldy hole in my ceiling which at the moment just has some tarp taped over it.

It also turns out the insurance is not going to cover a lot of the costs because there's dry rot? So I may need to pay thousands of pounds out of pocket for something that was the upstairs flat's fault. Obviously thrilled about that. This means it's back to the work desk for me. Luckily my old job is possibly happy to have me back in a different position. Sadly that also means continued silence on dA. I will try to post some pictures and reply to comments and thank people for follows and likes, but for the meantime I'll just have to do a mass thank you for all of those things and hope you understand if I don't reply right away. :<
