A few months ago, my first artistic love came out of its festering uber-sithy cave and clobbered me on the noggin, so now I have to pay it some attention or else go totally nuts. Consequently, I can't seem to stop drawing pictures of Anakin and Padmé and scribbling two fan-fics on the subject at the same time. Also I have fallen in love with Cade from Star Wars: Legacy, who makes Anakin Skywalker look like a freekin cub-scout. More on that, but not here. Requiem For A Faithful Mac

About a week ago, my wonderful Mac iBook died a gruesome and horrible death. I will not go into a details - but the guy at the Mac store said that the damage was so severe, that it wasn't going to make it. So i bid fare thee well to my old Mac, and used my income tax return money to get a new one. Happily, the old Mac's hard-drive was the only thing to survive the debacle, and I was able to transfer all my precious files to a brand new MacBook Pro. Hi All.First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank ALL of you who read this journal and enjoy my art. Your responses have been amazing and have helped me through a lot of very hard places. You are all wonderful, thoughtful people. :heart:Second, my birthday was very nice. Dave made homemade ravioli and i got a Boston Creme Cake. I got some lavender bath gel, some chocolates, and best of all, a live miniature potted rose!!! It has beautiful deep red flowers and a light scent. My awesome niece picked it out. It’s crazy to think that it’s been almost 15 years since you’ve passed away. I wasn’t even using Deviantart when you were alive, but considering how beloved you were, I wish I could’ve made an account sooner in order to support your work. The least I can do is leave this comment here as a way of paying my respects to an artist who brought joy to so many people on this fandom. Rest easy, Simbamarasa. You will always be missed.
