So dA keeps hounding me to turn off my adblockers, or at least "whitelist" the site, because they're so worried I won't be able to see any of their precious ads . . . but here's the thing: deviantART is one of the main reasons I have adblockers in the first place! This is considering that in February 2010, their ads infected my computer with viruses and malware ten times that month.

Okay, I know a lot of us (and by "us" I mean people within our little "circle" of watchers and such, but I'm sure there are more out there) have been kind of neglecting dA as of late, and a lot of us aren't as active as we used to be, what with life keeping us busy, or some of us just not having our hearts into art at the moment. But lately I've been noticing that a lot of people are actually dumping dA altogether in favor of tumblr.
