Description
A print I made for Atlantale. This has to be one of my favorite moments from the game, and I honestly wish people did more with it. It's such a gut punch with Asgore being forced to face not only this child--one of many--that he's tasked himself with murdering, but also the full consequences of his actions leading up to this moment. Even if it's something he no longer wants, it's a path he has to take all because of one mistake made in a fit of rage and the promise that he gave to his people as a result. You don't even know this guy aside from what others have told you about him going in, but you feel the horror and sadness behind his shock.
I've never been good at drawing armor, but I'm still happy with how the flowers turned out in this.
Frisk: I don’t know what to do now. I want to go home but I have to kill him to do it…it’s not like he doesn’t deserve it…but he’s been hurting just as much… Can I really do this…? Is the middle road really the only way? Would it have been better to just stay with Toriel, after all?! Why’d I have to climb this stupid mountain?! What do I do?!
