This has been in my head for a while. Darl on the back seat of his beat up Cadillac just waiting for whatever girl he's with to come join him. The inspiration is the above song. I've been listening to this band from the 80s to help me cope with current circumstances. I'm still dealing with stuff but at least I'm getting inspired for art. Drawing the interior of a car was a real challenge, especially as I could only find one photo on the net of the back seat of a 70s Cadillac. I had to take a guess on the colours since his car is silver, I chose a silver/blue/steel for the colours of the interior. I put a layer over the top to darken the colours a bit so it was more dingy.
